  1. Speaking of The Replacements, did any of you guys know that the Cleveland Lions semi-pro team existed from 1978-2007? I had never heard of them until a buddy ended up playing for them after attending an NFL tryout. Didn't know they were gone until I found this page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cleveland-Lions/105635036137352 So much for that plan.

  3. Hell yeah! There'd still be beer to drink and the Browns would have a better chance if the slate was wiped clean across the league!
  4. I want to see one in action sometime.
  5. I have a new in box set I'll sell you for $320 cash. Part number RS262K (black). I have a set on my bike, I picked these up at some point to have a full set of spares. Or you can get them off eBay starting around $345.
  6. Vinyl decals should just peel off pretty clean. As for any residue there are several solvents that should probably be tested on the paint somewhere first. I used to use naptha on factory automotive finishes, available at the corner store as Zippo fluid. I also have B'Laster DSR (Decal/Sticker Remover) from the auto parts store (picked it up by accident when I meant to grab PB) - pretty much like Goo-Gone in an aerosol.
  7. My buddy's GSXR had the white wheels - looks badass if they're clean. You see the brake dust coat quick...
  8. I was kinda digging the pink and teal retro style!
  9. I started riding in Vans but came to my own realization real quick that if I ever went down it would be very bad. I'm sure it wouldn't take much grinding on your ankle bone to cause some serious long-lasting agony.
  10. I really have not seen a motorcycle boot that I think would help much with "crushing" or "twisting." I think they do help with resisting abrasion and not catching when sliding though. I have Sidi Vertigo Corsa Airs, they seem to try to do alot for protection, but I guess I'm just not impressed relative to the motocross boots I've always been used to. Some of them seem damn near slippers to me.
  11. New reverse of the 2010 penny blew my mind. Thought it was some furrin' coin or something. hasn't changed since 1952. Glad they wasted the effort revising something worth less than it costs to produce, for all of us to store in jars in the closet.
  12. From Dennis Noyes on Twitter: "To the new owners of Mid-Ohio. The track has serious safety problems that former owners refused to acknowledge. If you fix it they will come"
  13. Because everybody loves a winner.
  14. My first thought was wondering if anything will be done about the sealer. Second thought is wondering what this means to STT and NESBA.
  15. I need to take a drug test. Just slammed 40 ounces of Mountain Dew, sitting in my truck in the parking lot shaking almost too hard to type this, still don't have to pee
  16. Glad you had a good time. You look better than I did my first day, of course you've already got more miles under your belt than I will in my lifetime. Just get those toes on that inside peg - did you end up dragging them at all? I'm sure head and shoulders will come down as speeds increase.
  17. Bah... every part on that plane has to meet extensive EMI criteria. Do yourself a favor and put it in airplane mode though, you're not going to get a very consistent signal at 600mph six miles up.
  18. I know I've done this before to either try to stay warm or give my lower back a break or at least a stretch. Mostly at night hoping no one notices. I specifically remember looking through the dark tinted windscreen of my old F4i at night - I could still see lines on the road and car lights, not much else.
  19. Done man. My first few posts on here got me a free track day last year, and I am employed again as of today. It's the least I could do.
  20. Sweet. RC51 is one of my favorite sounds, and I almost bought a Superhawk because of this. It will sound great with properly packed straight-thru mufflers, and will take the annoying rasp off that I'm sure you have now. I bet performance and throttle repsonse will be improved also, as a tightly packed perf tube is pretty much a straight pipe as far as exhaust flow is concerned, and what you have now is just a mess.
