  1. Obey the speed limit and don't ride wheelies on the street and an accident like this is the driver's fault. Act like a dumb ass on a public street, and you get what you get! The driver may get cited, but if they can get the independent witnesses to show up to court, they won't be convicted (which they shouldn't if witness accounts are true).
  2. We have WOW. I am not a computer person but the service has been great, and we haven't had any problems with it in the 6+ years that we have used it!
  3. Have you noticed that he is at the top of the top poster list?
  4. You can probably flap the wings of your chicken hawk to the Bottoms and hang out with That Dude. He is straight up West Side, and I think you would get along great! I think I speak for a lot of the people on this forum as well as the vast majority of the voices in my head when I say :ban::ban::ban::ban::ban: Sorry, the voices decided to speak for themselves.
  5. We'll just end up stealing them off of semi-truck tires like when we were kids! (maybe that was just me)
  6. I try my hardest. But I must admit I was expecting a different reaction from "The Man" taking a "law abiding" CCW permit possessing citizens guns.
  7. I work nights and had overtime this morning. I noticed that at 6:30 AM, not a single cruiser rider waved. However, the one sport bike I came across did. Just found it funny. On the way into work almost everyone waves no matter what type of bike. Everyone except scooter riders, the bunch of pricks with their good gas milage and "I'm to good for your environment recking motorcycle riding ads"attitude. Just kidding, I can't bring myself to wave at a scooter. I know, I'm a prick!
  8. They may have the capabilities (not trained on them), but our L.E.A.D.S. system (where we get all of our vehicle/owner information from) runs so slowly that if there are more than a few cars on the road, by the time you get a tone back for a wanted parson, search through all of the tag information that has popped up, then figure out what car you are looking for, it would be next to impossible (at least extremely difficult). Like I said, they have the capabilitiy of running 25,000 tags per minute.
  9. Stolen car plate readers. They can read 25,000 tags per minute. However, the driver still has to be able to read the information. They are only listening for the alert tone for a stolen vehicle.
  10. I know that our department can't do it. However, this may be what makes it legal: "for the exclusive or main purpose of enforcing the motor vehicle or traffic laws of this state". If his exclusive or main purpose is not enforcing motor vehicle or traffic laws, but is he is still an officer on duty and in uniform, this may be his way around it. We have uniformed officers that work COTA special (uniformed officer in unmarked car with strobing lights) who do not have the purpose of enforcing traffic laws (they work disturbances on COTA buses) that under this loop hole could perform a like action. However, it does violate our directives. Personally, I would inform my family not to stop and call 911 for a marked car. My guess is that it was one of our local police impersonators.
  11. Your not the one on 13th that I took all of the guns from a couple of years ago are you? Just checking.
  12. First time this year, or first time ever? I am going for the first time ever. I hear that once you go for the first time, it becomes an every year thing.
  13. Paint ball and a ball game (throw some dinner in there somewhere).
  14. My buddy and I are going down the 21st through the 24th. We are staying at the Marriott (buddy got entire stay on points) in Alcoa, TN. We are planning on Deals Gap, Wheels Through Time, n all the other crap riders should do while riding in the mountains. We are riding down. I will be on my '94 FZR 600 and he will be on his '10 FZ1 (both are black). Should be a great time!

    WBC gets pwned

Darby High School in Hilliard. I don’t remember the date but I believe it is this coming week sometime.
  16. That is not a fact, that is your perception. There is a big difference. I have had a handful of accidents over the years, some my fault and some not. Not once have I ever had a claim denied or repairs skimped on because of lack of payment. Also, I worked in a body shop for years and we had great relationships with insurance companies and they were great about paying for repairs. Yes, they are in the business to make money, but profit is not a dirty word.
  17. I noticed that you said that he had it on when the cop walked up to the car, but you didn't say that he had it on when he was driving. He just got busted, period. Seatbelt is a secondary offense, but if he didn't have front tag, that is an equipment violation and is a primary offense. Seatbelt violations are state charges, not local. So, the money does not go to the local municipality.
  18. My buddy and I got our plans locked down and are going 5/21-5/24. We are going to stay in Alcoa, TN. Has anyone been to the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum in Maggie Valley, NC?
  19. 2000 & 2002 Dodge Durango. Also a 1966 F100 (but haven't driven it since 1996).
  20. See if you can work out a trade, tires for the girl.
  21. For those of you that know him, stop reading now, because you already know what I am going to say. For those of you that don't, he is a great guy to work with! I wrecked his sleep for the day to have him put 2 tires on my FZR. He did a great job, and was very informative! He was a great guy to talk to, did great and speedy work, was reasonably priced, and has a couple of great dogs to help pass the time while he was working. If you need tires changed, look him up! Thanks!
  22. The hoodrats drive turdmobiles like this all the time in Columbus.
  23. I'll be 39 next month and was referred to as a "punk" by someone looked younger me after I passed him in a round about.
  24. You are probably correct on the time factor. As an arm chair quarterback, he was given way to long before they decided to go hands on. I have a personal rule, ask once, tell once, then it's game on. As soon as they saw the "little hippie" it should have been down to business. Don't give him opportunity after opportunity to defy you and get everyone into the action (like the woman shaking his hand) she's not part of it, keep her away. Either way, watching the taser in action is freaking hysterical! That is, as long as it is not me on the receiving end of the probes! I watched mine on video and I looked like a retarded piranha (still hysterical, only not so funny).
