I have State Farm, am 38, have had multiple tickets and accidents in my driving career (not all my fault, and never on a motorcycle), and pay $132/yr for full coverage.
  2. If you ask me, he is a future winner of the Darwin Award!
  3. Look at sportbiketrackgear.com I bought a Scorpion EXO1000 for $100. They always have a great deal on helmets.
  4. I have msn.com as my home page and he is front and center when you bring it up right now.
  5. That is bad ass! I had one of those on my bike in the mid to late '70's.
  6. Puke is an occupational hazard for cabbies. I don't know why they feel that they can be compensated for cleaning it up.
  7. You can be anywhere on your property with a gun concealed or not. Just don't step off of your property if it is concealed and you don't have a permit. Also, it isn't a good idea to be outside with it in hand if you live in town.
  8. Let me know. Like I said, there have been a couple of shit bags that we have been looking for. And I would love to get in on picking them up.
  9. At least when they are riding a '94 FZR, you know that they are not on the take. Now that I have said that though, I do have my eye on an S1000RR. It's going to be a long time of saving for that thought.
  10. This is your quote "cops around here (and everywhere) else are garbage." That is why I made that statement. You are generalizing about a group of people when you obviously have had a bad experience with one or a few.
  11. My guess is that they are not big fans of you either my friend.
  12. FYI, when I was in the automotive repair industry, a service shop could only legally go over an estimate by 10% without written authorization from the customer. Without it, work was free. For the battery, if you didn't agree toit, 10% of free I believe is free. In the '80's my inlaws had their station wagon at the Mercedes dealer in Tiffin for some routine maintenance ($400). When they went to pick it up, they were told the bill was several thousand dollars because they needed a new transmission and the dealer went ahead and replaced it. My father in law wrote a check for the original amount and left with the car (they never cashed the check). Then 2 years later the dealership took them to court and lost. The judge told my father in law to re issue a check for the original amount, which he did. The dealership then lost the new check and all work ended up being free.
  13. Is there an update on this? I know someone that is a huge mastiff guy, and has owned multiple in the past but I don't know where he stands now. I don't want to attempt to get the ball rolling if the dog is gone. Thanks.
  14. I know that a year or two ago we had some knuckleheads in downtown Columbus that were hitting commercial airplanes and helicopters with hand held lasers from a parking garage. We were given the location by the FAA, we located, and then arrested them. They were charged federally. Don't ask me what the charges were, I was off that night.
  15. I can't tell you how many times I have heard "it ain't happenin' to me, so I ain't gettin involved!"
  16. He was mad because his baby mama wouldn't show him a text on her phone. (No bull shit!)
  17. I am not taking a side, because I wasn't there. However, just because there was not a gun found does not mean that there was not a gun. One thing that I have learned is that thugs in some areas are very good about covering for each other. In the area where I work, thugs do a great job of making evidence disappear. The thugs all know where each other is, and when one gets chased, another follows at a close distance and grabs whatever is dumped (guns, dope, etc.), then when officers catch the bad guy, there is no evidence that they ever had anything. In this case, there were 2 working together. One got away, and one got shot. It is very POSSIBLE that the one that ran came back and grabbed the gun before ducking into an open building. Now it looks like the cop shot an unarmed man. I don't know if this is what happened, but it is very possible.
  18. I have never been a fan of 3C. I vote for Forgraves. Bruce was my paint rep before I went to work for the paint company (long time ago). I then worked with and for him at Sikkens. I also have had work done at his shop on my personal vehicle and it was great. Just my $0.02 worth.
  19. A friend from elementary school had an older brother named Harry Peters.
  20. Co-owners in a chinese chain restaurant? I love General Tso's!
