Schweet, another viffer! I still miss my 4th gen!

Did they start using Honda RRs or something?

Sounds like they're already shooting at the citizens - I also just read something on CNN about soldiers who refused orders being executed. Bad juju....

It's called Security Theater - designed to give sheeple the illusion of being 100% safe at all times, while letting worthless congress F^&ks say "We DID something". So while someone's getting their junk violated, felons who are now TSA 'Security' agents are stealing from passengers, vandalizing airplanes during 'security checks' (Federal offense unless you're the TSA) and random kids can still get onto the ramp and smuggle themselves into the landing gear wells. So yeah, the ones doing the screening are in more need of screening than the ones getting their junk grabbed. Nice, huh? Meanwhile, Ryder trucks remain the most cost-effective terrorist weapon on US soil. I did that a few years ago - I had to go up to MN several times for training on an airplane & brought a flight bag as my carry on. Forgot my leatherman with the oh-so-deadly 2.5" blade. It took five (5) trips through security for them to find it. I was pissed to lose it, but made sure to share that with the guy as he confiscated it.

Heard he moved to Broadview.... For the non-horse-savvy, define 'crib' - like separation anxiety?

Man that is craptastic!! Good thing you were caged at the time! Just like the helmetcam video from last week where the dumba$$ woman gets out of her car with phone attached to ear with her CRV parked on top of the dude's bike. I was planning to ride to work and get the VFR all salted up tomorrow, but looks like i'll be fixing a burst pipe instead... Maybe I'll ride to Home Depot & see what length of CPVC you can carry on a bike.

Ah - choke cable ? Looks pretty similar to what my 7 y/o would come up with, actually. Maybe the kid who bought the Harrier on Ebay is trying to come up with some more cash by selling off dad's stuff?

Very sad reminder that we're not here forever. I'm dreading that upcoming last car ride with my older grey - we think he's 10ish, but he's starting to slow down and can't keep up on walks anymore. We rescued him out of a stinking little kennel, 25lb underweight, but at least the last part of his life will be a good one. Quite a character. I like the rainbow bridge story; I'm wearing gear when I head up there; these two can do some damage when they hit you at 40mph.....

Very sorry for your loss!!

Nice.... here are my stickdogs. Not enough meat on them to make a meal, but man can they run!

Wow, I can barely get 3 minutes to peek at OR and VFRD once or twice a day. 'Course we share our area with estrogen-crazed medical records people who are totally devoid of humor and would petition to have all of us fired immediately. I'm loving that castle, BTW!

So is their issue that he shot the assailant without a gun, while the armed one ran away? Wouldn't a reasonable person assume that if one guy has a gun, they're not just there to lift your TV, and defend him/herself against both of them? Isn't breaking into your house considered instigating? If the jackass had stayed off his property, there's a 99.9999996% chance the homeowner would not have shot him.

OK praying for new job to come thru so I have the extra $$/time for this!!!

Cool find! The Eastern Mass Loop goes right past my parents' house- great roads, very much like southeast Ohio, only the area is a lot more populated. Pretty much any road in the area outside of the Rt495 beltway will be fun; not many straight lines there...

Out of curiosity, are there reasons noobs should stay away from Nelson's ie school quality, track conditions, etc?
-
New to track days or want to try it out? Check in here!
AndyJ replied to Moto-Brian's topic in Track is Crack
I'm hoping to get a couple trackdays in this year. I've been on Nelson's and Beaver in a car in the past, but never on two wheels. I'm working on a new gig that will be a big step up so I'll have the extra discretionary income to go scare the bejeezus out of myself .... -
There's been a bunch of fatal accidents with kids from Medina the past few years, but I can't remember how many were DUIs. I'm wondering if they're trying to 'control' it or minimize their own liability for when the next carful of kids drives into a tree. Interestingly, I didn't see it in the free local snowblower-clogging paper this week. It's probably a moot point anyway as the school system's about to cut out everything in the budget. Next year they probably won't even have the money to keep the lights/heat on after lunch.

Quite Possibly the Dumbest Person on Earth
AndyJ replied to Big Green Valley's topic in Pics and Vids
But wait, she's even more of an asshat than we thought: Article: http://technolog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/01/20/5885523-texting-fountain-ladys-problems-bigger-than-youtube-fame?GT1=43001 It's so impossibly stupid that it must be true. That'll teach her to try the lawsuit cash grab. -
If he was on a company owned airplane, it's pt 91 & there's still some small amount of old skool American freedom involved (for now..) Even travelling by private aircraft, the TSA has been seen trying to get into private hangars, harrassing pilots & passengers etc. Anyone remember this episode of true new-age American 'Security Theater' from last year: http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=5624381&page=1 Hopefully the sheeple are finally figuring out that the whole 'Whatever it takes to be safe' mantra is BS, and fighting back. The TSA is a terrorist organization in its own right.
