  1. Wish I had moneys. Seriously wanting to just have a street ready dirtbike dropped into my lap for this winter.
  2. Though the 250 is a good choice to start on, I doubt he will. He's determined enough on a 600, that he wanted to take his budget to some older bikes to afford it. Imo, if you can't give up displacement, give up cylinders. I may be biased, but the 650 is plenty of bike, and can be found for less, if you're very keen on cl. Ready torque, comfortable, even for passengers, simple plastics, plenty of aftermarket, and uh... fun as hell!!
  3. I got my sport rider from a link on here a while ago...
  4. well, how could one edit it like that? love the last one too.
  5. Well, don't I feel like a hipster. I stalk people like it's my job.
  6. Yah... Kinda awesome. I would really like a 250 someday.
  7. Wow, that kinda upsets me. craigslist should enjoy the extra ads it gets.
  8. Yay for my second screw in a new rear tire! Why can't it ever happen to old tires? Well, gonna plug it tonight or tomorrow. I still have plugs in my slime kit. what pisses me off us that I know the screw came from the hill jack maintenance guy fixing up the apartment next door. But my complex says I can't prove it...
  9. I might go to miami... I'd really love to piss them off.
  10. If anybody it should be the dick head charged for impeding flow of traffic..
  11. Yah, I almost did that once.the bike was about to squish me when I frantically grabbed the brake and hopped on, majorly spraining my groin... Sucks worse for you though.:-/
  12. lol i think i remember reading about a drunk roommate on here once. that sucks. and it definitely is a beater. i'm sticking to beaters if i do get another. Was looking at a 97 Camry with 177,xxx miles for 3k just now. They went so far as to detail that the passenger power window switch was flaky, so it seemed like they were honest about it. and the point in fixing the bearing is because it makes a god-awful scrapey clank noise. that'd turn me off of it for sure. the leaky exhaust is not really something i care about. haven't passed out yet, so the cabin is sealed enough lmao. the consensus seems to be get something that isn't a pile of rust. i'm feeling the same.
  13. Trying not to screw myself over here... My car is a 98 Dodge Avenger 2.5 L with 144,xxx miles. The exhaust header leaks, and has since I bought it. Sounds like a wannabe redneck tuner. Looks like it too, with a very cheap racing stripe paintjob that was done before I bought it. The ball joint knuckle recently broke, and after replacing that, the wheel bearing is definitely in need of replacement. I know this Dodge is pretty much supposed to fall apart, from what I've read on Avenger specific forums. The ball joints all used to have a lifetime replacement recall, because they just can't seem to get it right. Now, due to their stinginess, they changed that to a once a life thing. It was apparently already done on mine before I bought it with 100k on it. I'm seriously considering getting rid of it. Awesome car, fun to drive, and I can actually stretch my legs out, but I'm a college student trying to fund my motorcycle addiction. Not to mention that I'm engaged, and that's another money thing in and of itself... I could replace the bearing eventually, but I'm pretty busy. And I'm not going to pay a shop to do it. I'm a scrooge. My brother, and others are saying to drive it til it falls apart, and hope I have enough saved for something new by then. I think I'd be better off replacing the bearing and trying to sell it. I kinda feel like you guys are smart, so I kinda value your opinions, so don't joke with me please... What would you do?
  14. So, would this be viable transportation through winter?
  15. My phone isn't working too well on OR today, but if you're looking into an er6 look at a versys.
  16. It depends how good you are at wheelying...
  17. i dab on some body wash for the smell of it, too sometimes.
  18. Orly? That might be major tacky on an r6 but i may do it anyway... :-)
