If i take the bike I'll ride down. If I can't race down I'll just hang out all week
-
Long way out but if i cant get back on the bike by then I might need a ride. Because I'm still going. Haven't missed one yet and I'm not about to start.

Make sure the charging cable your using is a fast charging cable. Not all usb s cables are created the same. You can have a 2.1 amp usb port but if the cable isn't a high rate cable you still won't keep charge.

They do have pizza on the lunch menu..lol Yeah my wife has worked here for almost 3 years and is a awesome company. And they took real good care of my mom when she passed away.

Haha, my daughter could too she's a dandy little artist. Maybe I'll get a Valentino Rossi number painted on it...lol

Well just got fitted for my brace I have to wear for 5 to 7 weeks when I'm out of bed. This thing is going to suck ass. Damn thing more or less turns me into a turtle. Trying to avoid the pain meds, too much I know they can be addicting. Thanks again for all the text, messages and post from everyone checking in on me.

Little bit of good news, L1 is involved but only in an impact/swelling/brusing way no big damage so still just waiting on the brace and xrays to determine the final plan *Rebecca

Update on my hubby Tim...the CT from yesterday showed L2 compression fracture with about 25% loss in height to the vertebral body, the MRI showed that to be about 30% but also that L1 maybe be involved, good thing is that there is no nerve involvement! So we are waiting for the trauma neuro team to come in, for him to be fitted for a TLSO brace, and for more xrays to check the stability of his back in the brace, also on PT & OT eval after all that, then we will know for sure if the game plan is to wait for healing to happen naturally (fingers crossed) or if he needs surgery. Of course he is finally resting comfortably now that it's time for everything to start happening.*Rebecca

Need at least a 2 amp usb port and a quality usb cable that charges at at least that rate. My solution was a battery tended usb adapter and and braidedheavy duty usb cable. Links to the stuff I have are listed below and I run two different GPS tracers and GPS navigation, usually Pandora and I leave my screen on all the time and it's always 100%when I get to where I'm going. I've ran my galaxy s5 and my galaxy S7 with this set up. https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-081-0158-Disconnect-Charger/dp/B00DJ5KEF4 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GJC4WRO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks bubbys, it's a L2 compression fracture. (Thought they said L3 but Simone heard wrong) Not sure of the severity yet, just got bavk from thr MRI. They are hoping no surgery will be needed but we will see. Lots of pain, never felt pain like that before. Was hiking at Mohican with the family and me and my son wanted to wander to the bottom of the Little Lyonns falls while the girls watched from above. I was going ahead of my son to make sure he didn't get hurt. About half way down there was a spot where their was wet moss on the rock edge so I tested it with one foot. Seemed to be okay so I proceded, soon as I put all my weight down my foot went out from under me and down I go with nothing to grab onto. It was about 25 ft to the bottom the first 10 ft was about a 45 degree slide then it drops straight down for the last 15 or more feet. When I crashed I hit the bottom full speed in a semi seated position between a large rock and a log and my mower back took All the ompact. Surprisingly enouch nothing else was hurt but I knew my back was fucked. At that point I was at the bottom of a 50 to 60 ft ravine and needed to climb out using tree roots and stones. Took me 20 min to get back up to the path with the assistance of a couple good Samaritans. Then it was a half mile trail hike back to the car that took maybe a hour using baby steps. Once to the car we made the decision to drive to Columbus to come to Riverside Hospital because all the local hospitals suck. And I'm glad we did they have been awesome here. Taking every precaution and getting me comfortable with minimal waiting. They admitted me for observation and to fit me with snack brace tomorrow morning hopefully head home late tommorow. As far as riding season and the trip in June only time will tell Even if I can't make the Ozark trip or get on the bike I'm coming to Fontana even if it means driving the car. Thabks for all thr thoughts and prayers you all are the best folks, friends and family a bubby could ask for. Here are some picks for your viewing pleasure.

Sounds like a fun trip, too bad I've got my plate full for this year for touring trips.

Kind of where I was going with my comment. I rock an old Steel framed Huffy I bought at Wally maybe 20 years ago and stuck a fat ass gel seat on it and it makes a perfect flat grounder tow path bike. It is what it is but if that's all he's planning on doing that's all you need.

Anyone interested in a set of brand new never mounted Bridgestone Battlax BT023's 190/50-17 Rear and a 120/70-17 front. Bought these last fall because of the price. I decided I don't want to run them because: one they are non GT's (GT's are made for heavy bikes) and two I want to stick to my 190/55 T30 rear that I've grown to love. These are brand new never mounted and still have the sickers on them . I believe the date code is spring of 2016 I'll confirm this when I get home. I'll will sell these for exactly what I have in them which is $180 for the set any less than that ill just run them. Pick up in 43019

For tow paths and flat bike trails just get you a cheap walmart bike. If you decided its not for you your not out a lot of cash.

Not my bike but the wife's. Decided since it's 10 years old and 10k miles I'd check the valve clearances and sync the carbs. And what did I find in all my hard work? No adjustmebts needed, the clearances and sync were balls on middle of the spec. So really a waste of time but at least I have peace of mind now knowing it's all good. Check this out, TPS on a carb and bowl heaters on carbs that sit between two air cooled jugs. Seems like overkill

This is my 10,000 th post on O.R., thought it deserved recognition.

I'll probably be doing this for a rear. If i dont ride anymore between now and time to leave I'll have enough tire for the entire ozark/gap trip. If I keep riding I'll probably need to visit wheelers to make it home.

This applies to pheasants too fucking birds.

I have thought this too. I do not like them either but I also think they probably save more accidents than they cause. I'm not disagreeing with you just saying that they do do their job but I can see how they would send the wrong message also.

As a new rider a tip for you, regardless of what you wear always(ALWAYS!!!) assume that cagers do not see you. Even if they seem to be looking right at you and you see the whites of their eyes assume they did not see you and be prepared to take action to avoid them.
