    Gap trip, now

My first thought when they said every 30 min was there would be a 2 mile long parade going down the dragon every 30 min, and that would suck ass.
  2. There are guys that think it matters but I'm not really sold on it. I think most cagers hit bikes because they just don't look at all. But if it makes you feel better about it like Joe said there are many options in many brands for the whole Hi viz yellow thing which is probably the brightest option if you don't mind looking like a highlighter all the time.
  3. Wash all the road spray and bugs off the Connie from the weekend. Then decided to wire a relay into the ignition switch for the heated grips on the wife's Vstar. So she can't leave them turned on anymore and run her battery down. Not a pretty wiring job but its ran properly with fuses and rely. No-one will ever see it under the side cover. Best part was it was free, some parts and a rely I had laying around.
  4. Thanks, been a long road and we both still have a lot of work to do still. Yea we've had the Sena blue tooth for prob 3 years now for bike to bike . It's the onlyway to go. Here is a order before and after pic we did we have lost more since this but gives you some idea of the change.
  5. Just a quality brand. Like I said that's a minimum... minimum. In other words better than nothing. Nothing being shorts or jogging pants. I run textile tour jacket and over pants. Fits my needs and offers medium protection and moderate comfort.
  6. Everyone comes around eventually.
  7. Love my abs, saved me a few times. Including this weekend when a fat assed pheasant walked out in front of me hard over into a corner and I freaked and grabbed a handful of brakes.
  8. He's not really a MOD more of Casper's alter ego than anything else.
  9. Dan isn't 6'1" I really don't know how you ridden a small framed bike as long as you have. And a SV is a great choice I just think a 500 or smaller would be too small.
  10. Didn't think you were fucking it, but then again maybe you are
  11. Nope, hit some new stuff Ive been to 2 of 3 of Sam's shin digs, im still batting above 500.
  12. They match the smiles I had in every sweeper with a mountain view I was in over the weekend.
  13. Love the stickers , I know they add HP
  14. I need to do the same, family vacation in 4 weeks and bike trip a couple weeks after that and if I want to enjoy foods on vaycay I need to get to work NOW.
  15. It's not an excuse, it's priorities And you know with my family and work schedule that is not true for me. Will make that same choice next time. I can see you fuckers when ever I want too. Twisties > Bros so the Bros need to go to the twisties with me and not make me alienate you.
  16. Sad I missed this but I would have given up 931 miles of sweet WV,VA riding. Maybe the next one.
  17. I live in the country and still would rather not commute on the bike. To suit up for a 11 mile ride seems like a waste and then I have to stow my lunch bucket on the bike and then get to work and stow my gear. Fuck that. The bike is for enjoyment not to ride to a place I don't want to be in the first place. I put 10k plus a year on the bike and almost never ride to work.
  18. I'm saying get what he "wants" and grow into it. He already said he wanted and naked or a sport bike. Why would a guy go buy something he dosnt want just because it's more commuter friendly? We are talking size and power of a bike here I thought, not style. He's already decided the style he wants.

    Die by Wire?

Ouch, this is probably one in a million scenario but still sucks. Damn!
  20. Those things go into garbage soon as I buy a new lid. Never stay on and always in the way.
