  1. I didn't change that, it's always been recent post. Which is the way I like it.
  2. Been a long week at work so didn't get much done till today. Like I said I went with a non folding bed it fits perfect where I wanted it to. Myself being a big boy can get it up by myself but it's a strain. But me and the mrs. had no problems doing it and it out of the way and secure. And still plenty of room to get the truck in and out.
  3. I can't next weekend, made promises I have to keep.
  4. Noone is harder on a gear box than I am,and I mean noone. I ride a shaft drive, 150HP, 700lb touring bike and I literally ride it like a freaking race bike. I almost never clutch when I shift(up or down) I love heavy throttle take offs, I use a ton of engine brake too. Also Kawi calls for 7500 mile oil change intervals on my bike and I'll push it to that as often as I can and never a problem. She alway's shifts nice and smooth, never misses a shift never had trouble getting in nuteral.even after I wait 7000ish miles for a oil change it comes out dark brown, never burnt and never broken down. But the one thing my bike has going for it though is she does take 5 quarts of oil. So there is a lot in there to cycle through and maybe that helps it.
  5. Good times, good company and a awesome game. Thanks for the hospitality bubby @max power and angel.
  6. @max power We will stop and get some chips or cookies or something to bring. If there is anything in particular you need or want let me know we can bring it. Just text me.
  7. He said he's never used it in his current bike. But he used to in previous bikes. That's why I ask him if he were still using it.
  8. Hey I resemblem that remark @JustinNck1 I really don't really care what kind of earl people want to use. Just don't like seeing people over pay for crap they don't need. Why pay $12 a quart or more for these high dollar specialty oils when they sell a 5 quart jug of premium oil that will work in almost any vehicle and it's around $5 a quart and available at Walmart or any local auto parts store. Rotella T6 FTW! Put it in your Bike, Car, Truck, diesel, lawn mower, or golfcart. It has the specification for them all. Your neighborhood @MidgetTodd will agree.
  9. Yea that's good stuff. It was just smoother after the oil change in my opinion, it never failed to shift.
  10. You still using that (SC)AMSOIL ? I swear that vstrom shifted 1000 times better after I changed the oil in it and taking that stuff out of it right after I got it.
  11. Looks like I'm working very early in the morning but will be off early enough to come home and get some extra shut eye before your shin dig. So unless something changes me and the Mrs. will be there.
  12. Like I told you on FB still waiting on them to decide if we are working tomorrow or not. This place doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
  13. Well I hit a milestone this week. I'm down a few more pounds and technology not obese any more, I'm just overweight.(by these charts that "experts" made up). Going by those "experts" I need to be at 205 lbs to be at optimal weight so I'll never see that. Not because I don't think I can, just because I don't really want to. 220 is my goal, so anything under that I'll be happy as a clam. Btw, my starting weight was 298 back in February.
  14. Looks good man. Wish I could have done LED in my garage but 2 years ago when I was in the process LED prices hadn't started to drop yet. I did six 8ft high output fluorescent fixtures each with 2 bulbs. At least with the high output they are cold starting down to 0 degrees, any colder than that I don't need to be in the garage..LOL.
  15. Yea this isn't going to happen next year now. My bank account says "no!" So maybe I'll bump this up in a year.
  16. Is it winter time already?
  17. Haven't washed mine yet either, and I hit a dusty gravel road that day I road the Devils triangle.
  18. Ahhhh, got ya. At first I thought you said fucking race bike that's why I thought you were talking about mine.
  19. I'm sure they are great tires that's why I tried them, heard nothing but good news about them. But it's kind of like comparing apples to bowling balls here, you gotta think I'm rolling down the road about 400 pounds heavier than you are. They just don't work as well on the big heavy machines. Even some of the heavy sport touring guys that put down massive freeway miles in the Flatlands love them. But that's not how I roll. Where we we are having the cupping or feathering issue is on the corners of the tread where the water sipes are. I'm assuming due to the weight and toque of our bikes the compound they use their cant withstand that as well as lighter bikes. At first I was thinking it was my set up and maybe I could change some things. But then when I realize Justin was having the same exact problem with a totally different bike and setup. It's gotta be due to the shear weight and the aggressive riding that we both share. Justin said that his are worse than mine. I can feel the unevenness with my hand and at extremely slow speeds while rolling but I can't feel them at regular speeds or fast speeds. So I'll roll these until I either have to take them off or I finish off the tread. More than likely I'll keep them on there till just before the June Gap trip.
  20. PR4 's installed at wheelers $455 which I thought was a very good price. Set of 023s mounted by me and bubby tire Spooner up the road. $180. That's the only reason. I'll get 1000 to 2000 less miles out of the 023s and it still makes dollars and cents to go that route. And other than wear I had zero complaints out of my last sets of stones.
  21. 2 hours I'm now spending siting around doing absolutely nothing. Just paid for almost half my tires I just bought.
  22. My Employer: We're shutting the machine down for a couple hour's to do some maint. We know your on OT right now so do you want to leave early or stay? Me: What is there to do if I stay? Employer: Nothing really Me: Okay, I'll just stay then.
