I snagged the 2 things I wanted, pretty convenient since my wife works 3 miles from his house. Sent him payment by paypal and he left them out for pick up. Easy peasy

Yup when shopping I skip over those ads too. And when selling a bike I usually know within a few min if I'm going to let the buyer take it for a spin or not. And if they insist it's cash in hand and if you bring the bike back undamaged and decide not to buy I'll had the cash back over.

Seems to be a love/hate relationship with jeeps and as picky as I am I acually get it. They are cool, they are one of a kind and everyone wants one at one time or another. But then the negatives, frames rust out, weak drivetrain, limited on what you can do with them as far as cargo and towing, and I have hear quite a few people talk of leaks and things braking. Would I own one? Aboslulty! Would I pay the premium price a nice one sees to go for? Hell no.

I was telling Jamie to look into the ZZR1200 if he wants a sport tourer on a budget. I've seen nice ones for around $4k or less.

34k, final drive seals are know to fail in them. The rotor and pad was because a stone got under the pad and grooved it. Will be all fixed by this aftetnoon, picking up my free zx14 rotors and having thr final drive done after work, just waiting on the pads from amazon.

Bike needs new front brake pads, right front rotor, final drive seals and bearings. Got a hook up for a free rotor and a fellow connie owner/dealer mechanic hooking me up with doing the drive for $110

Made it home about 20 min ago, I think the connie is hurting but I limped her home. Think I have a warped front rotor and the final drive is sling oil.
