  1. Sweet, I know that rock...I think
  2. Still thinking about doing this even if I'm by myself. The weekend is too perfect. The wife and kids are busy all weekend, and the weather still looking perfect. Found a cheap mom and pop hotel off of BRP that looks like a winner. If I go alone I might change up the trip a little and do more slab and BRP so I'm not in rural hillbilly land by myself.
  3. There was a guy south of mount vernon that had a back yard that looked that way.
  4. Here is my tenative route. Sorry about all the way points it was the only way to force the routes I wanted. Thinking of just slabbin to the river, because I can ride ohio roads anytime. Haven't decided to do it clockwise or counter.
  5. Ok see it now. Looks like a nice road but don't think I want to stretch it that far south on a 2 day trip without freeways. Put it on my must do list for later.
  6. Where would I find 209? Im at work right now and only have my phone to look it up on.
  7. UPDATE: TRIP CANCELED DUE TO MY SHITTY JOB!!! Just like the title says since my dirt riding bubbys are all busy im thinking about hitting the road this weekend and head south. Also since the weather forcast at this time looks freaking beautiful. Want to hit the "Back of the Dragon" Rt 16 in western WVa. ,and "The Snake" in NE Tenn. Thinking about leaving ass crack of dawn Saturday morning and riding ALL DAY, maybe stay around Boone NC or Bristol TN for the night then ride ALL DAY Sunday and make my way home. I would avoid all freeways when possible and can split a room with somone to save cost. Also if possible I'm not objective to leaving Friday afternoon to get a head start. When I say "super tenative" at this time is because I'm won't be sure of my weekend work scedule till late Wednesday or Thursday. I don't care what you ride or your style just make sure you can handle at least 400 to 500 miles each day. I ride at a moderate pace 5 to 10 over the posted limit most of the time. But please no super newbs, I'm not playing baby sitter on the side of the road. Let me know of any ya'll are interested.
  8. Also another thing I think helps is, get your Concealed Carry License. I can't even count how many times I've been followed or even pulled over and deserved to be and they turn around or just give me a quick verbal because I have mine. It's not that cops are freaked out or worry about my weapon but I think it's just a situation th ey would rather not fuck with. Or maybe they look at it as "hey this guy is a legal carrier with a permit and wearing all his riding gear, he must not be much of a trouble maker I'll give him a break" I swear my CHL has gotten me out of several tickets.
  9. Never recived a ticket on a bike. Been pulled over plenty, every time I deserved it but never a citation. Ive probably been pulled over 10 times on my bike in thr last 6 years and always get a warning. Usually the conversation turns to th e bike or riding in general because a lot of LEO's ride also and they understand. The worst was in NC during the OR Gap trip. They had a speed trap set up and me and another member we trying to get caught up the group at a 4 lane, after we got stuck behind a truck. They clocked him at 70 somthing and me at 94. They pulled over the entire group and checked out endorsements and told him and I to slow it down. Lucky maybe, but I think cops gets it, and give people that are fully geared up a little slack.
  10. I was going to come down tonight and enjoy some drinks and a fire but it looks like rain all day. So I'll wait for a dryer weekend.

  12. I wouldn't say everything, but yea most things
  13. Don't rent out my bed you slum lord...lol
  14. Yup its fine for wet clutches because there are no detergents in it. And yes 5-40 is all it comes in, but many people have been running it on thr power sports world with no ptoblems. Once the oil it up to temp that means nothing anyway.
  15. After waiting 13 years I'm finally getting my garage built. 24 x32 x10 going up somtime in June. My bike have always been stored in a 10x20 shed, that will now house the lawn care equipment .
  16. It'll be a cold ass ride this am. Im on day shift now and will be snoozing then.
  17. That's one of the coolest roads I've ever seen. But holy crap it's so narrow.
  18. Pole building bubby more bang for your buck, and the Amish are cheap and do a better job. Only permit I have to get is from my Township for $25 plus $.05 a share foot, so around $75 it's nice to be zoned agricultural.
  19. THIS ^^^^^T6 or Mobile 1, only 2 things I will put in my machines.
  20. This type of shit is why I will never support that company in any way.
  21. I be there still won't be many people on them because A. Most won't get a new map because they already know the trails. B. It's out of the way a bit just to do the loop
  22. Meh, LOL....I look like a gorilla on it but it actually goes just fine with me on it, rider capacity is 280lbs for it and that's exactly what i weigh.
  23. My son(12) does good on his 250, the one come off he had last year made him realize he's not superman on it and brought him down to earth. Ill be looking for a machine of my own but it wont be till after June, till then I have to ride his. So going out together wont be a option till then.
