    10k already.

I was hoping the connie would hit 80k this year but might be a little shy.
  2. Took the Scout out for a spin around some county roads. Back home now. Will go out for abother quick spin with the wife later on
  3. Which direction might you guys head? Have to be home around 4p (ish)
  4. Did you check youtube? My wife had a vstar 1100 with the V&H slashes on it it. I can tell you it was deep and obnoxiously loud. On long trips she had me put her stock pipes on till we got back.
  5. Welcome back man. Sorry to here about your pops. Still plenty of riding weather left.
  6. Think it's one person using two account but Casper is MIA so we can make up any rules we want now.
  7. If you were local to me I'd say bring it over but I'm not. Taking the tank off isn't that big of a deal. Coolant is probably due for a flush anyway.
  8. Welcome back Brotha! @Tonik is still a @JustinNck1 isn't loud to have his balls anymore without permission and still Fuck @Casper
  9. I know @Gixxus Christ! used to own one of these. Maybe he can chime in.
  10. I broke dead even on the Z1000 and got a year of enjoyment out of it. When I say even I mean taxes, upkeep and tags. Only thing that bike cost me was a performance award on blood mountain in GA. I came out way on top when I traded the Vstrom for the Connie. Wifes V Star cost us about $400 a year for 5 years. This Indian she now has been a money pit that we will never get back. Probably already $2k in the hole on it. But she says it's is a forever bike....we will see.
  11. Because I'm a slave to the man and thatswhat I have at work where I do most of my time wasting. Like right now.
  12. Buy super low sell low(ish) has always been my moto. If I don't think I can break even in a year of ownership I walk. Unless it's something I know I'm buying for long term
  13. Nope for Euro well to-dos. Either with their fully kitted R GS1250 Adventures wearing their Areostich suits that neither have never even seen a gravel parking lot neverless an off road scenario. or the Ducatista in their full Dainese leathers and 3 inch chicken strips on their tires.
  14. When I say desktop I mean the desktop version of the site. Usually I'm on a lop top or chrome book.
  15. Ive heard Pony is about to lose their Indian franchise if they don't pull their heads out of their asses. Way too many complaints from the service department and I guess a Polaris Corp Rep stood in their showroom for over a half hour looking at and sitting on bikes ect and no one offered any assistance. That one pissed them off royal.
  16. 80% of my OR(ing) is on a desk top, 60% at my station at work and 20% at home. The other 20% on mobile.
  17. If by "nobody" you mean "guys that never use a computer"and by that you mean "you"...
  18. I change and flush brake and clutch fluid every 2 years.
  19. I like to do the same with my wife's white Impala. Have to be a little more selective with it, quicker than it looks but not super fast. But love pulling up to teenagers in their ricers or ragged out 15 year old stangs that think they are soooo fast. Wish i could see the looks on their faces after they get smoked by a grandma car that says MS PERL on the license plate.
  20. Get a ST bagger like a connie, fjr or Wing. Nothing says humiliation like your $50k+ sports car getting beat by a bike with luggage on it.
  21. True that. Being last min that's why I said local. I'll need to extend my range the next go round.
  22. Agreed, was very emotional for me. Esspecially walking through the inside displays with all the videos playing.
  23. Motorcycling is becoming more and more of a poser thing. People worry more about what they or their bikes look like instead of the function and or utilitarian purpose, or just fucking riding them. I see it all the time in various FB groups I'm in, even on here. "why did you put that big ugly box on your bike?"...."because I ride it fucker, and not looking for an excuse not to". People have all the excuses. Can't ride long because my ass hurts(but don't want to put that big "ugly" seat on). Can't ride because I have nowhere to put things(adding luggage is hideous) Too hot..too cold...too wet(but i look so GQ in my race leathers) Every excuse. Also see post on FB of people patting themselves on the back because they did some big 100mile ride that weekend,. Me too, then I got gas and did it 2 or 3 more times before i went home. Just the other day I noticed two different 3 year old bikes for sale with less than 500 miles on them. Why even buy it? Hell Pony has a 3 year old C14 on the floor with 900 miles on it. Who buys a touring bike and puts 300 miles a year on it. I think people buy bikes for the "coolness factor" of saying the own a bike. Will no real passion to actually ride them except to the next parking lot to lean on it.
  24. I can't plan rides for the same reason I can't commit to others planned rides. My shit job. But it's nice to jump in the rare occasion when I can. Think every group ride I've joined in the last 2 years was a last min thing for me. Most of the time I just show up.
