2 faults here. #1 kid should not be an attention whore #2 Cops should have been more professional . I understand their reaction because in my option the kid was looking to provoke a reaction and possibly humiliate them esspecially by setting up the camera and basicly saying "look what I got away with". the cops should have left it a "don't do that again" and if he did then react appropriately and professionally. Cops are due some respect but that respect has to be extended to me from them as well, if I am aproched by a officer and he gives me attiude he will get in return. The whole skit the kid put on was uncalled for, the remarks and over reaction from the cop was equally uncalled for. Someone should have stepped forward and been the bigger man and actted more mature and either side had a chance to do that, the kids at the begining and the cops at the end. All my jackets are water proof or have a removable liner, boots I buy are always water proof(most are), as far as pants I have a pair of riding pants that have a removable thermo and rain liner(Slider all season) but when I just wear jeans I have a pair of frogtog pants stowed away that I can slip on. Ethanol is you bikes worst enemy, i know very few stations carry it(if any) but if you can get 100% gasoline w/o ethanol your bike will love you, and you will love it even more. Ethanol attracts moisture and condensation and that ='s bad.

Im going to guess to say that if he takes it in for warranty and they find the carb gummed up it wont be covered and he will get rapped on the bill.

If I were local id help ya out more, not that hard to do should be a drain screw on the bottom of the carbs, but I know what your saying if you never messed with thing like this before it can be overwhelming. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2

Can you shut the fuel off and drain the carb bowls give them some light taps on the side refill and then try again, maybe a float sticking:dunno:
