that 450's got nothin...

yea my Tahoe usually gets 18 to 19 mpg on the freeway. When i brought my 7x14 v-nose trailer home EMPTY i only got 10 to 11 mpgs. With 4 bikes and 4 dudes going to the gap this year i was only getting 7 to 9mpgs(depends on the hills). Couple trips i made to wayne sticking to 2 lanes(not the freeway) keeping it under 60mph i could still get 14mpgs loaded(2quads, fire wood, camping gear). I just bought a 6.5x14 open tandem axle trailer and got 15 to 16 mpgs on the freeway on the way home(unloaded). And 95% of my trailer use is freeway so fuel mileage is huge for me, plus you can do so much more with sa open trailer. Enclosed is nice to keep you shit clean and dry but not worth extra cash and hassle to maintain in my opinion.

I tried that route, it was nice but I hated the fuel economy so much I sold it 6 months later, it wasn't the weight it was the wind drag

My wife has one,I bought a pocket holster for it and I we have no problems concealing it.just looks like a large mobile phone in my pocket

I would get the lazer to have to play around with but i would not use it to carry, one less thing to think about in a bad situation. When you need to draw down on someone you dont need the distraction of making the lazer turn on and or looking for a red dot. But i would buy it with the gun because if you want one later they are closer to $100. But if carry is 100% if the gun use, save the $50

i sold something simular this spring for $550 with better chokes, just to give you a compare on price. mine was only a 5x8

is anyone else jumping on this?...im rethinking this since it's time to put in for my vacation time(and yes with this shit hole i have to burn vaycay on a weekend)

LTX is what i have on the tahoe right now, i have no idea of milage on them(they were on there when i bought it) but they handle, grip, and ride NICE but due to price i prob will be going with somthing else upon replacement

It is now a used bike & wrecked bike, you lost 30% just by riding it off the dealer lot maybe another 30% by wrecking it. Just sayin. I think $5k is fair for a fast sell and $6k if you wanna wait for the right buyer and sit on it for a while.

Exactly, seriously thinking about taking 2 weeks vacation in a row next year, and hitting the road. The problem i have is someone to go with me, alway better when you have a buddy and its hard for most of my freinds to make plans like that.

Oh yea I forgot about option 3...my hours Saturday are 11pm to 7am then I have to come back in and work 7pm to 3am...I could ride between 7am and 7pm with no sleep for 32 hours...I'm not as young as I used to be:nono:

I have a bit of a quandary myself. I was going to call off work to go, but now I am scheduled a double shift for Saturday. #1 that's a $450 day of time and a half #2 two of my counter parts are off for vacation and they will have NOONE to cover me. #3 since its a double shift I would have to take 2 points against my attendance....now of the other hand #1 it the last ride till april #2 its supposed to be beatiful Sat. #3 since two people are of it will be a f'ed up day at work.....hummmmm what to do
