  1. I think im ready to take my moto touring to the next level. For me anyway. I feel I've become the master of the preplanning, over preparing and massive amounts of thought and plotting type of trips. The last few year have been epic in what me, @Danimal, @JustinNck1, @Connie14 and a few other have seen and experienced on the advebture I've planned out. Think I want to start doing more impromptu type trips. The type of trip Dan has been doing where he just points his bike in a direction and goes. Or at least trips where you plan on getting somewhere on the first day then that evening figure out where you want to go on the next day. I'll have to dabble with it this year on some weekend wandering. Then maybe next year take another 2 week trip and head back out west with no real plan in mind other than I'd like to see the Pacific while sitting on my bike.
  2. Sorry i didn't make it I've attended every other year. This was the first one ive missed. The Dyno thing was a semi disappointment i didnt get all the info i wanted and it was shit show if squids in a parking lot. Lesson learned. Ill pay for professional dyno session next time. Don't put so much planning into it. Just pick a date. Take a head count maybe the day before and grab some basic chow. Toss some extra rolls of TP in the shiter and throw some chairs out..DONE!
  3. I was disappointed as well. But i kinda get it at the same time. Anywho. Still was good to see what the ol Z has going on now. 131.8 HP and 76.2 torque. Like Shawn said they weren't set up for A/F today but pretty much found out my bike has the stock tune in it still. Those numbers would have been in mid to upper 140s with a tune. So it's a base line.
  4. Well I'm for sure out. I mounted new tires on the car last night and need to take it in the morning for an alignment before it fucks up the new tires. So alignment, dyno, wedding is the course that I have chosen. Have a good time swallowing Sam's meat without me.
  5. I really don't give two farts what kind of power I'm making I just want to know my A/F. That bike has more power than I'll ever need on the street.
  6. I've been texting Justin all week. They are doing this all for charity and are selling VIP dyno spots for $50 that move you to the front of the line. It's $10 for a wait in line turn. Yea I'm thinking at 10am there isn't going to be many there yet either.
  7. I really am torn here. If I do make it I have to leave by 1:30ish, and if I do the Dyno thing I might not make it there till 1ish. That means leaving the house at 8:30a to be at @IndMoto by 10a. Hope to be one of the first ones on the Dyno and be out of there by 10:30ish. Ride home grab the Conine because I'm not slabbing on the Z's pilot powers. Maybe get to the gay driveway gang bang by 1ish then have to bounce by 1:30 absolutely no later than 2p. To make it home to put on my fancy cloths to make it to a wedding in Mount Sterling by 5:30. I almost want to do it all as a challenge
  8. I still have this but tomtom basically just told me that it is now a brick(for the time being). I really don't see them having a update for it.
  9. I've been using PJ1 Blue label Clear for many years. I've gotten phenominal mileage out of my chains. The best was over 45k miles on the stock chain and sprockets on my TL that was a torque monster. When I changed it it was actually still in good shape I just wanted to put a gold chain on for looks. My Z has almost 20k on it and stock chain and the guy I bought it from used the PJ1 as well. Best thing about it is that it's not messy at all.
  10. Installed a few extra hurs-pers and a couple more torxs on the Zbomb today. This should make it hole shot, corner and brake better.
  11. Only battery I'll put in my machines. There isn't anything more dependable or longer lasting.
  12. This is what they look like leaving my machine. Just stacks and stacks of corrugated board. They goto another machine to be cut, folded and printed.
  13. Is it getting its wrap? Whats up with that bazooka tube dent?
  14. Just got home thanks for the fellowship y'all. Thanks John for the grub and getting this put together. Great ride today on the way up, even the freeway on the way home was relaxing(for me, the wife hated it..lol).
  15. Rolling here in a bit. Taking the scenic route. You all may finally see the elusive unicorn. Momma bear riding her own hog. To this point I think most of you must believe it to be a urban legend.
  16. Just confirming my +1 is indeed coming. How many bikes we roll in on is still TBD.
  17. My attendance is doubtful. Lots of stuff going on Saturday. Probably have to work in the morning, really wanted to hit the dyno day in Cbus and have a wedding to attend in the evening. If i don't work i may still try to make it and skip the dyno day but will have to leave ealry to make the wedding.
  18. @RidersDiscount Sent you a PM
  19. Also watch what you ask for. Im sure there are plenty of ragged out i4 bikes out there for sale for less than $4k. I think i understand what you want. You want the best bang for your buck but some people will play you with that vauge WTB description knowing your willing to drop a set amount.
  20. Deals are harder to find early in the season but I picked up my 2010 Z1000 mid last season for that price. You usually have to be willing to travel to find them though. I picked it up in Flint michigan. saved me about $1000 for a 8 hour round trip drive.
  21. Yup still shy but not much. Maybe 106-107 more than makes up for it in girth. No complaints out of 11 year old technology.
  22. But since you brought it up. You forget mine has been flashed also. Something for your viewing pleasure. He doesn't advertise peak toque but you can follow the little red line. 😜
