  1. We used to be able to build decks at around $6-$7 a square foot. It's been several years, but I can't imagine it being to far off.
  2. We have typically hauled the bike to the beach with us, but I'm asking myself if it's worth it to haul the trailer and bike down for maybe one or two days tops of riding. We are going to Holden Beach, NC for 7 nights (about 50 minutes north of Myrtle). The roads aren't very good. If it rains a day or two, I will want to be sitting on the beach with Corona in hand the remaining days. We are also planning to golf a day or two. I'm thinking maybe an extra $80 in gas if I haul the bike. I need my time on the beach to relax. What would you do? Anyone know of any good rides, scenery or events that would be good to visit on the bike in the area? Times like the below are hard to come by, but I doubt we'll be able to do that anywhere close to where we are going.

  4. I've had them in my front tire for around 10k miles. Have worked well. My last rear tire change I went with Ride On though. I can't be havin no ugly azz weights on my chrome shizz.
  5. ...and that's the reason I hire people for their experience, not for their certifications. In my industry, experience is everything.
  6. Damn dude! You didn't F around did you. Bummer man. Hope it doesn't kill your wallet too aweful bad.
  7. I wouldn't call it technical for an experienced rider, but it is somewhat blind, there are tar strips, and even light gravel at times.
  8. I live right down the road, and there have been many motorcycle accidents on this curve. If you haven't ridin it before, it can be very deceiving. I grew up about 1/2 mile north.
  9. .....right down the road from my place. Thoughts and prayers go out to the families. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/05/23/Motorcyclist-killed-in-crash.html
  10. Welcome from just outside of Lancaster.
  11. I believe I would chop the backrest off to give it a little better cafe effect.
  12. "Sounds" like a cool bike. Would love to see it.
  13. Welcome from the Heroin capital of the state!
  14. Welcome to Ohiya! Ride east on 22 to 56 south. You'll soon be in some really nice riding areas.
  15. This looks like a pretty good deal. Any expert opinions?
  16. The wife wants something a little less "aggresive" to pedal around on, so we are selling her 2000 Specialized Rockhopper Comp. Large Tektro Quartz Brakes Shimano Deore shifters and front derailleur, and XT rear derailleur Fox Vanilla rear shock Manitou Magnum R forks All stock, barely riden. We bought it used about 4 or 5 years ago. Everything works as it should. Originally $1100. $275?
  17. Even though your never far away, I've heard of trucks getting broken into. I guess fewer rangers to police the area. I've been going to Perry for about 20 years and never had an issue though...knock on wood. Lots of fun for the "harescramble" type riders. Unfortunately I'm too busy to join you this spring Mick. Maybe later.
  18. Thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.
  19. I can neither confirm nor deny that I left the price blank.
  20. I said someday, not today..lol
  21. If you had a title for that 250, we may be able to work a deal. But since your screen name is shadyone, and you don't have a title, i think i'll pass...lol
  22. Lol, about every 2000-2500 miles. I bought it with just under 5k miles and sold it with around 14k on it. Can't find my old paperwork, but it was always a great bike. No issues. I'll definitely have another someday.
  23. I sold mine about 3-4 years ago to a guy around Grove City I believe. He had it up for sale after he had it for only 1 or 2 years. i put the frame sliders (engine guards) on, integrated tail light, and Zero Gravity double bubble windshield.
