  1. I know this is old, but Prime Day is now. Has anyone ever tried the Arlo system? If so, what are your thoughts/opinions? Pros vs cons? Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. https://www.amazon.com/Arlo-Smart-Security-Camera-System/dp/B014TJFC5U/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_img_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=7K13YRS99ZWWCPV6GQP0
  2. They look great! Good job man!
  3. I'd also suggest meeting in a public, populated place. Some Police Stations have designated safe zones for personal sales.
  4. Congrats, great looking bike! Quick question though....if you are "tall" as your screen name suggests, how the hell did you ever fit on a R6? I'm only 6'2", and I couldn't take it.
  5. ...what about "hands free"?
  6. Actually, I just looked, and the MC track bar is only $179. http://www.metalcloak.com/TJ-LJ-Jeep-Wrangler-Solid-Chromoly-Front-Track-Bar-p/7035.htm Supposedly offers some of the best clearance.
  7. I've read tons of positive feed back on the OME kits. IMHO, I'd drive it before you add the transfer case drop. I think you should be fine with 2". If nothing else, add a couple of fender washers in between the skid and the frame to drop it down as little as possible. That's what I did, and it also creates a little space between them to keep clean and prevent the rust that always builds between the two. By the way, I've got the Zone 4.25" combo lift, and did not need front brake lines, even when disco'd. People rave about the Metal Cloak track bar, saying it's the best bang for the buck at $199. I got a Steinjager that I am very happy with at the Dayton Off Road Expo for $150.
  8. Looking good man! Shoot me a price and some pics of your hard top. Read up on installing a locker on a D35 before you do. I'll be installing a locker in my front D30 with chromoly shafts hopefully next winter. I'll wait to get a D44 or 8.8 in the rear before installing a locker back there.

  10. How many hours? No mower? V-treads or turf? Pics?
  11. Check out Daveys Jeeps for a rear speaker bar, there are already adapter plates made for the front speakers, and check this out for an inside the console amp/sub solution http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777B8PTD/Sound-Ordnance-B-8PTD.html That's what I've got in my TJ, and it sounds great. Along with Infinity 5.25" front and 6.5" rear
  12. WTF....he didn't even ask his buddy about his bike?
  13. Here is a website with rides around the Maggie Valley area that a friend of mine put together. http://maggievalleyrides.com/index.html
  14. Congrats! Lots of the 4.0's with higher mileage have ticks.
  15. I heard somebody took the plunge. Pics or it didn't happen
  16. Soft Scrub with bleach.
  17. Also, Jeeps can be money pits, whether it's upkeep/maintenance ($5k Jeep), or making it your own with mods. Just Empty Every Pocket. Also you must be willing to wrench if you go for a $5k TJ. Or pay ridiculous amounts to shops that may or may not know what they are doing.
  18. I'm unsure what exactly you are saying, but the only reason a TJ would sell for $5k with a rotted frame, is because the buyer over looked it. The TJ's that I've seen for $5k have a little fender rust, tub rust, or surface rust on the frame. Fenders are dirt cheap, and if you catch a rotting frame early enough, you can stop the rust with the right measures.
  19. Lots more calendar days of fun in a Wrangler, than a Trans Am or Vette. I was shopping for a C6 when I decided to give a Wrangler a try instead. So glad I did. We have a blast all year long in this thing. A $5k TJ will need a little work typically, and will have some rust. My good friend, brother and nephew have all gotten $5k TJ's in the last couple of years. Just make sure to check the frames for rust. Typically they rot right in front of the rear lower control arms. This was 2-28-16 And this was earlier in February Last Fall
