  1. Schmidts! But is there really any other German places?
  2. It was shut down when we first arrived in August because a trucker was way over center and killed a biker. It opened back up several hours later, and we had a blast as always. We'll be back down again in August 2012, but staying in Maggie Valley this year. The Snake was fun this year, but it didn't seem like there were as many scenic places to visit up that way (Johnson City).
  3. I'm considering it, if you guys don't mind a side by side tagging along.
  4. If they have to talk, I still miss Howard Stern or Rover's Morning Glory. when the Blitz got rid of Rover and crew, I quit listening in the mornings. Not a fan of Mo and Blazer at all....very unfunny.
  5. I foresee all of my "beautiful" plates coming up stolen when these come out.
  6. Turkey friyers are for the birds.....this is how we roll...
  7. I've been thinking of a little pea shooter for my youngest.....hmmmmm

    Boots???

I got a "deal" at Rocky a couple of weeks ago. They were made in China and lasted about 2 weeks before the sole started separating. I knew better, but gave them a try anyway.
  9. Can't remember what year I raced it, but it was a really long day, and cold as heck. Most of my friends didn't complete it, but I sure as heck did! Cool vids, thanks for sharing.
  10. Older women that chase younger boys are called cougars..... Older men that chase younger boys are Nittany Lions.
  11. $75 for one 10 hour day. I used my Taurus 9mm
  12. I'm trying to find some RZR's to meet up with down there too. I'll let you know.
  13. Welcome. Please post a pic of your bike. I used to have one and have been wondering what ever happended to it. BTW, they are great bikes!
  14. I've had all sorts of bikes (sport included), and my Yamaha Raider is my favorite by far (and my wifes). It has a 1900cc/113 cubic inch that is a ton of fun to ride. Air cooled v-twin! And yes, it has a rear seat and passenger backrest, but they are quick release for when I do my 1 up riding.
  15. Be careful for some of the gravel in turns towards the end of Revenge Rd. Just my opinion, but 374 off 33 at Rockbridge was awesome the last time I rode it. I would switch to that section if it were me. 33 to 374 to 180 into Laurelville. Just a suggestion. By the way, if you like twisties, you should go out 56 just a little further than your plan shows. Sorry, this is your ride, just a couple of suggestions.
