  1. God speed to the rider. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, other friends and family.
  2. Lots of plastic chrome and a.....uhm.....a so so motor. Check out a Yamaha Raider.
  3. Welcome from a fellow Lancasterinian. How long have you had that bike? I think someone was inquiring about trading that for my old FZ1 last year. Cool bike. I've seen it around here and there.
  4. I have been wanting to hit 260. Let us know what you think. I've heard great things.
  5. Sounds like a good car for my "soon to be" 16yo. Too bad he is being a punk.
  6. BB price on my 2003 400ex in great shape is $1300. No way I'm selling for that. BTW, are you looking? Cause I'm possibly selling. 300ex is gonna be quite a bit less than mine, especially if it's rough.
  7. RIP. We (wife driving) hit a deer on 664 July 4th in our "new" old Mustang convertible. Minor damage ($1200), but it was the first actual deer hit for both of us. Sucks.
  8. I've been to Target World in Sharonville. Wasn't bad, but I think they had the same employees.
  9. I've got friends that come down from Michigan to ride our Ohio roads because of how nice they are kept here. Try riding in Michigan to put things in perspective.
  10. District 12 MX is no more. D11 is still going. Some places do not have youth ATV classes, so you'll have to check each track individually. Dirt Country is a track around Blanchester, which may be the closest track to you. There is also New Vienna. They have about 3 tracks of different skill levels. It used to be practice only track, not sure anymore. Dayton Motorcycle Club. COCR is in Sugar Grove. They just started having youth ATV classes a couple yeasr ago. Not sure if they are still doing it. New track in Chillicothe. Fast Traxx in Nelsonville. Briarcliff just east of Newark is an incredible facility for practice. Several different skill leveled tracks and woods loop. Try this website for Ohio MX info too - pitracer.com
  11. We've got a group of about 6-8 bikes and about 10-12 people. I think we are heading to the Big Muskie Bucket, via 37 to 78 in McConnelsville. Then 78 south to 13 south in Glouster, into Athens to 56. 56 to Jimbo's. Then 664 to 374 to Rockbridge. This is not really an organized ride, so there may be changes depending on how everything goes, but that is our tentative plan. Anyone is welcome to join. We have mostly cruisers (2 Raiders, Goldwing, 1000rr, Big Bear Chopper, and possibly a couple more). We will be at IHOP in Lancaster at 10 as well.
  12. Actually, now that i think about it, I doubt some of the others will be willing to ride as far as 260. We may be winging it.
  13. We have a group meeting at 10 at IHOP. Not sure if we'll be going the same direction, but we can talk about it then. One of my friends has a route planned out with gas stops, food, and everything. It's a little bit further than 555 though. It is around route 260, north of Marietta. I've heard great things about this road. Just not sure if everyone will be willing to go that far. Looks like it would take about 1 1/2 hours just to get to the loop that he is talking about.
  14. Soooooo.....alternative route planned?
  15. Hey Cooter, do you have a route planned yet? We may have a group of us meeting at my house (just southeast of Lancaster) around 10-11 am. We could possibly meet up somewhere along the line, unless they would like to go to IHOP too. I'll find out and let ya'll know.
  16. Wow, that's a serious bummer Cooter. And your dad to boot.....ouch. hope he's ok.
  17. It looks almost just like a Rolls Royce....
  18. Muhahahaha...... Clutch is your friend. Let us know how it goes.
  19. Me, and a few others may be into this. Depends on the other possible festivities that day.
  20. Pittsburgh, in several different places it has typically been $19.99, at least, sometimes $24.99. I worked there for the last 2 1/2 years.
  21. Holycaveman is not looking so cavemanish lately....lol
  22. Finally. I too have been known to bring some back over the border. I love it. BTW, I haven't found it for 3 years for $16 case. Cheap? Not. Keystone, Buerger, and Milwaukee's Best is cheap. All you beer snobs can continue to sip on your heavy, bitter beer, I'll take a 6 or 8 or 10 Yuenglings and love every minute of it. And, yes, I'll probably gain another 10-20lbs when it gets here.
