I would definitely be interested in seeing what you have. Sounds like you beat the piss out of that thing...lol. You would probably have better luck with the new XP900. Those are supposed to be built for that kind of stuff. I can definitely see tearing some stuff up, but hopefully won't go that far with it.

Really? Interested to hear what all was breaking. I haven't heard that very much. I've been doing a lot of research on forums and such, and have actually heard that they've been very durable until you start modding them. Like lifted suspension will eventually cause worn CV's and axles. Please let me know what to look for. I've put about 6 hours on it so far with zero trouble. Even jumping it about 3'-4' in the air.

Very clean, lightly used 2007 YZ250 two stroke. I've owned this since it was new. There is approximately 15 hours on the bike. Mint condition. I am a vet rider, and this bike has almost never seen high RPM's. Meticulously maintained. All stock. Air filter and oil changed every 2 rides, unless needed sooner. It is the cleanest 2007 you will find. Not a thing wrong with it. Graphics, sprockets, plastic, pipe, silencer, handle bars, and fork seals are all original, and in great shape. DID gold chain. If you are looking for a two stroke to ride in the woods or race motocross, you won't find a cleaner used one. More pictures with higher resolution upon request. I guess I'm missing the complexity....wouldn't be the first time. Employees receive benefits (money) from Employers (therefore drug tested) Welfare recipients receive benefits (money) from the govt. (why not drug test) There has to be some kind of motivation to get off of welfare, even if would only work for some. And if they stop doing drugs, just maybe they'll get cleaned up and want to do something with their lives. Sad that I see it this way because I have always been one to say less govt. is more. But this in particular, hits a little too close to home.

I kept my FZ1 for about 5-6 months after buying my Raider. It didn't get ridin once, so I let her go to someone that would ride it.

Not much as far as suggestions, but I had to have one with a qwerty keyboard too, until I got one without...lol. I love the swype feature when emailing, texting or browsing on my Samsung Fascinate. The swype lets you drag your finger across the letters to make it sooooo much faster to type. Ask a dealer about it. Just my $.02

I like the Victory's a lot too. If I didn't have my Raider now, I'd probably have a Victory. But as stated, if you are into making it your own and modding, whether it be small bolt on's or larger cc kits, Yamaha would be the way to go. I say go test ride some to see what fits you the best. My vote is for the Yamaha first, then Victory.
