  1. Completely last minute, but I am headed to IP shortly. Might see you guys there?
  2. I may be only 15 minutes away.but I don't have one of them fancy tricked out touring scoots like all of you.
  3. I am just north of downtown Delaware...feel free to Message me for contact info...
  4. Seen them? I owned one... bought a legaCy 250 for the ex-wife at one point. Junk...pure junk. Couldn't keep the axle bolts tight, couldn't keep the cvt belt dry, tranmission leaked all the time, ....the list goes on and on... best one is that parts are not readily available in the USA...so good luck riding it.... I bought it cheap ($200)... she rode it enough to know she didn't like riding...
  5. Depending on how dedicated you are to getting rid of debt... I used the "snowball" concept a few years ago, and got out of just under $15,000 debt (stupid debt like credit cards, short term loans, along with an upside down car loan, etc) 2 ways to look at it...pay off the easiest thing to pay off now, and use the monthly pmnt from that to pay off the next easiest thing, keep adding the monthly payments together to "snowball" the debt payoff... OR the way I did it... Use the supplemental cash, plush monthly payment, to pay off the most expensive debt that the cash allowed me to pay off in full, then snowball it from most expensive to least expensive...
  6. I play... we have a few of us here at work that play on the resistance team... The scanner map is limited in range, where as the intel map allows a broader range search... could be that the "close to you" is outside the range of the scanner map.
  7. Well, I am out of thoughts then... I haven't played with sharepoint since SP2003... back then, it was template driven.. if you had something wrong with the template, you deleted the entire "site" and started over...
  8. what version of SharePoint? and is is the full (MOSS) or the free (WSS) edition? Some of the older versions were limited to template based sites (if created using the direct inbuilt sharepoint tools), and once the template was applied, no going back...
  9. Can any one show me the law that states this? ORC #? legal cases that give precedence to this concept? As far as I am aware, the speed limit applies to all lanes of travel, and that would include the far left lane. OP states He was at the speed limit, therefore what law makes him wrong for being in the left lane?:
  10. Pm me the address or at least the street, city and zip and I will run it for you...I should be able to get some business names for you to contact that way....assuming there are any that are worth it...
  11. Fixed wireless broadband is a fancy (ish) deployment of 802.11abgnac wireless access points... think the same wireless you have in your house, or at starbucks, but on steriods... Quality and reliablity will vary heavily based on the service provider, what equipment they use, and how they are connecting their towers. Iworked for 2 different wireless internet providers in the past... one "borrowed" space on a variety of towers, and used the same wireless connection to backhaul back to the main connection point at the office. The other actually obtained wire-line internet service at each tower location, and provided internet from there... I will spare everyone the rest of the technical details... max power: did you run the interactive map? If so, did you get a list of the actual providers? that cover your area?
  12. I would assume that you moved somewhere in Ohio? Connect Ohio (an organization born out of the "no person left offline" government initiative, part of Obama's shituff) has a broadband availability map, you can put your address in and see a good amount of the service providers for internet at that address. http://connectohio.org/interactive-map It's certainly not 100%, but maybe it will help?
  13. All night last night, I heard things scratching at the floor underneath me...I would hear it in one spot, then it would move to another spot... back and forth and back and forth... I swore whatever it was... it was going to get me... Then when I sobered up, I came to realize that landlord hasn't covered the crawlspace entrance for days... #Anti-climatic
  14. I've ridden just over 1000miles on the bicycle, and just over 5000 miles on the motorcycle this year... never seemed to have an issue between the 2... although I have thought about the fact that bicycles are backwards when it comes to brakes. ...
  15. What particular speed of DDR2? I have 2GB unbuffered PC2-6400 that I can't use (at least 10 sticks). Or 2 sticks of 2Gb PC2-5300... Most of these are new in package... so they should be good... Free if you are willing to drive to Delaware to get it. I might be able to swing an evening trip to somewhere on the north side of Cbus, (dublin, worthington, etc...) if you need...depending on what night you are available...
  16. I still stand by my earlier comment... if all this is bought for is to finish an 80% lower... pointless... seems to me you end up more traceable than buying a private sale serialized firearm... BUT... $1200 for a small scale, fully capable CNC machine... seems to be a nice price point... machine anything I want from a 9x3 inch block of stock... for $1200...
  17. Better yet, this can be seen at the bottom of their webpage: 2014 - Defense Distrbuted - The Ghost Gunner - Pending DoD approval for public release So, in other words, we may be arguing over something that will never see the light of day...
  18. www.ghostgunner.net "As shipped, Ghost Gunner can manufacture any mil-spec 80% AR-15 lower receiver that already has the rear take down well milled out. Lowers with non-mil-spec trigger guards that are otherwise mil-spec are also compatible. Defense Distributed recommends using the 7075 Ares Armor Raw 80% Lower AR-15 Billet, available for purchase here." "Ghost Gunner is capable of manufacturing more than just firearm receivers. With Defense Distributed's open source Physibles Development SDK (pDev), designers can distribute files via our '.dd' file format, which contains all installation and assembly instructions, any required jig files to hold the part in place (that users can print with a 3D printer), and all machine definitions and code to physically manufacture a particular design. " "Machinable dimensions: 175 x 75 x 60mm (~6.75 x 2.95 x 2.35") Maximum part dimensions: 230 x 90 x 100mm (~9.05 x 3.50 x 3.90") "
  19. I don't believe this even "makes" an AR lower... it just finishes the milling on an inserted 80% lower... so basically: buy the $75 80%... name goes on a list of who purchased one.. buy the $1200 machine that mills the $75 part ... name on another list buy the $60-$80 lower parts kit needed to make the lower usable - name on another list Or... as Midget said... cash sale, private party... already complete lower... easily avoid your name going on a "list"
  20. Everything stock on that thing? A bike like that is meant to be ridden, not collected... I might be interested... but not sure on the price...seems about right
  21. Correct me if I am wrong, but most of the instructors you mention are combat style instructors... Hence my "navy seal" comment... Sure, you have to have the basics down before you can begin to worry about combat tactics and shooting, but I guess I am viewing all of this from a daily civilian scenario, where I may have to draw and present once or twice in my life (or at least I hope that is all...), and most likely not in a slime covered, tactical environment. But hey, if extra texture is what it takes for you to be able control and follow up, I certainly see the benefit, no matter what scenario you are in... It's just that it's not a "fix", but rather, an enhancement.
  22. Grip hold and recoil management are not 2 different things... grip has a huge effect on recoil management.. grip the gun too low, and you introduce a lot more muzzle flip; not enough driving force with the secondary hand, and the gun will recoil up, and to the weak hand side, reducing follow up shot timing and placement; weak grip, or wrists, and you can introduce muzzle fip, or drop, along with malfunctions; etc... In my limited training, I never once encountered an instructor who told me that I should add any sort of grip enhancers to my guns... rather, they told me that I needed to work on my grip structure... thumb placement, 60/40 grip, higher purchase on the pistol, etc... I am not against making the gun work for you, and if something you change (including stippling/texture) makes you a better shot... Awesome on you! This... at least you are honest about it... if its "cool" for you... have fun... but think about the replacement cost of a receiver/frame if you don't like it later... I don't know what pistol you are thinking of stippling, but it ran me around $150 from Glock direct for a replacement G17 Gen3 reciever... (replaced for a different reason, not because of stippling) The receiver is generally a FFL item, and to replace it involves the paperwork to go with it...
  23. Had a glock 17 that the PO had stippled, rounded the trigger guard, etc... I don't know where it was done, but it was done "professionally" I shot the g17 side by side with a factory stock g17... Unfortunately I gave up the glock to trade into an AR platform, so I no longer have a stippled pistol My thoughts: Unless you are planning on playing navy seal, and swimming/wading through slime infested water, all while expecting an assailant to attempt to rip the gun out of your hands... its not really worth it. Work on your grip technique, stance, awareness skills, etc before worrying about trying to melt millions of holes in the polymer of your gun. - I was amazed how strongly I could hold a standard polymer frame with wet hands, once i was trained on good grip techniques. A lazy grip on a gun is a lazy grip, with or without added texture.
  24. Well... no... it's not legal in Ohio... .yet.... and the assailant was convicted on federal drug charges, along with attempted murder... serving 25 years, no chance for early release. Morrow County Sheriff, Brandon Moore. I don't know about the OR connection. But he had initially responded on a property dispute, and was tipped off/grew suspicious. May very well be the same person. His holsters are right up there with crossbreed holsters, and I feel like I am supporting local.
  25. Don't have pics currently, and not in a location I can un-tuck and get one... When IWB, exclusively using a Hero Holster. http://www.heroholsters.com/ Whether it's the full frame 1911, the compact XDM 45, or the M&P 9C, they all go in a Hero Holster when IWB. Slightly thicker kydex than a lot of manufacturers, nice firm, but soft leather (usually sourced from Amish)... Brandon (owner of HeroHolsters is local-ish (north central ohio), and will custom make holsters when at shows and events. OWB or On the Belt holsters vary according to the situation, and whether for concealment or not. My Holster collection is growing, and now resides in a small tub... BTW: Brandon is the recipient of the 2012 AMW All star award for his actions during a shootout after he discovered a large Marijuana grow. He was able to disable the assailant with a pistol, from over 50 yards away, after being hit multiple times by .223 rounds.
