Older SxS probably with dual triggers. I have pulled both barrels at the same time on a gun like that. It's not much fun. Well, unless your watching somebody else do it.

Fairly often, I am a member out there. They have been doing huge upgrades to every part of their range including the sporting clays and I am excited to get out there with the new gun and give it a try. My old Browning Gold sporting clays gun has served me well for going on 12 years and I figured it was time for an upgrade. A buddy of mine I shoot with a bunch is buying my old gun so it softens the sting a little on the price of the new one but it took a long time to justify $3k on a shotgun to replace one that has treated me very well. The old Browning is a great firearm but I was looking for something that I could run two choke tubes in. Here is a pic of what I am replacing.

I had a new shotgun come home with me on Monday. Browning Citori 725 Sporting. Now just to get it out and shoot it.

My Duc is in the Family room and the Triumph is stripped of parts and all taped up for this weekends track day. I got nothing ready to take on the road.

Ohio Riders is just too awesome for the Russians to handle so they want to block us.

Yandex is a Russian web search engine like Google. Are you running your connection through a proxy or something?

I have three Kershaws at this point. A pair of Leek's and I picked up a Damscus Shallot just this Christmas. The Shallot is a really nice kife for the money.

Well, the rest of the parts arrived. Everything is ready to go as soon as I get the barrel torqued in place. So much itchy trigger finger.

I have a Yugo SKS I was considerig getting rid of. Laminate stock, all original. Hit me with a PM with your trade ideas. I have plenty of 7.62x39mm that I will have no need for if I get rid of this thing.

Well it must be getting real close to a full fledged assault rifle, the level of badass has increased and the darn thing drew first blood tonight. I put a magpul B.A.D. lever on it and without putting the charging handle full forward I dropped the bolt closed while playing with it. Pinched the ever living crud outta my finger with the release latch. Anyways. more parts coming yet but it is starting to look something like a rifle these days.

I have the plain gloss black version of it. Love it, best money spent in years. I wear prescription glasses so having the flip down sun visor was huge. No more wishing for clear or dark when you start to get in and out of the trees or tunnels. Airflow is not bad and compares as well as my old rf1000. The visor is much more watertight than my previous helmets and was a great bonus for all the times I have gotten stuck in the rain in the last 2 seasons. Make sure the shield is locked all the way down and the front vents are closed and I rode for over an hour in a massive downpour without the inside of the visor getting wet.The outer shield comes with pinlocks and Shoei included a clear anti-fog insert with the helmet. Would call it 85% fog free in the real world. It was initially very tight around the bottom of my jaw and the back of the neck. The extra padding down low on the helmet is to try and reduce wind noise and it does a great job. It's just a little weird to get used to at first. It has the removable ear pockets so you can install an intercom. Cheek pads have the red emergency quick releases like the race helmets. While riding the Ducati, it has no windshield and the helmet is very good. It is quieter than the old rf1000 and is just as stable if not more so, I rarely wear earplugs. With the Triumph, pretty sure it's the windscreen but it makes alot more wind noise. The helmet is still stable with no buffeting or anything crazy, it's just louder. I certainly need earplugs to keep the wind noise comfortable. I would buy another one if it ever comes down to it.

Oakley Sunglasses question (Paging Desmo-Brian)

If you check my link for the lenses they tell you how to measure your frames so you can tell if they are the Juliets or not. -

Quick google search. Yep, they look like the x-metal series http://o-review.com/database_detail_model.php?ID=235&table_name=glasses Lens can be found; https://www.revantoptics.com/catalog/product/view/id/1759/s/replacement-lenses/oakley-juliet/ Or just search for Oakley replacement lens's as there are tons of people making them. -
When on the Triumph I have a powerlet adapter and just charge the phone right off the bike. When on the Ducati I have a 4000ma battery pack charger. It will keep the phone fully charged for about 2.5-3hrs with the GPS and screen running.

I don't have a good picture handy but research a Steyr M95 Cavalry Carbine. I have one chambered in 8x50R Hungarian. Its an interesting old bolt action rifle, mine was made in 1901. It is a straight pull action with a rotary bolt head very similar to an AR-15. I could fill another whole thread talking about vintage rifles.

What is really funny is that I already have 15 long guns and this will be my only "black" rifle. Even with being a roughly 50 year old design it is the newest in my collection.

Upper/lower and BCG are Bushmaster. Magpul STR stock, MOE pistol grip Palmetto state lower parts kit and ambi charging handle. The Eotech is off my Garand but I will probably buy a second one for this rifle. The following is ordered but hasn't arrived yet. green mountain 16" m4 profile chrome lined 1:8 barrel. Smith enterprises muzzle brake. B.a.d. lever Oversize forward assist.

Kinda a Christmas gun. Seems to be taking a little bit longer than I had wanted to buy all the parts. The barrel, muzzle brake and the rest of the upper pieces are inbound. Still haven't decided on a handguard or front gas block yet.

How to tell your wife is the best in one Pic / SFW :)

Just to bring this one back to the top but I moved mine inside today. Still need to clean the rear stand and get the tires wiped off but I think it will look good sitting indoors for a few months. -
There is no doubting that. I did have the mossy fail on me one time. The set screw in the middle of the safety slide came loose and allowed the gun to get stuck in the "safe" position. Lost a day of sporting clays due to it. It is now very well locktighted and secured that it will not come loose again. Would hate to have that happen to me during an emergency.

Only that the workers in white lab coats are actually orangutans. I could have made some of the parts in my mossy500 better with a piece of steel scrap and a couple of dull files.

Had to wait till I got home to be sure. Mine is the DW6900

I have been wearing g-shock watches for the last 20+ years. I have had 3 total. I have never had the watch mechanism fail and have never cracked the glass. I usually end up wearing out the outer rubber shell. Take me roughly 8 years to kill one with one band change in there somewhere. I have been an aircraft mechanic since '96 and those watches stand up to pretty much everything you can throw at them. I recomend them to anybody that needs a work watch.

Specs are actually in my previous post. Bushmaster upper/lower and bcg. Lower parts kit and trigger is Palmetto state. Stock and grips are magpul. Probably shouldn't have posted the pic if the old A2 rifle as that thing was a mixmaster pos that didn't have a single quality part inside it. The Eotech is a temporary transplant to see if I like it on this rifle. Im not sure yet if I want a second Eotech or go with a magnified optic yet.

I have shot a $15k Perazzi shotgun before and in all reality I am very happy with my $1k Browning. I can appreciate the time and craftsmanship that goes into a custom gun like those but still can't justify the crazy cost. Heck I can't be bothered to upgrade to a $3k Citori as my current gun does its job so well.
