  1. From what I can find it's 3 inchs longer on the wheelbase and about 10lbs heavier than the ST series like mine. They were optimized to have better bags and be more passenger friendly than the older ST bikes.
  2. Well, being I completely failed at trying to post that picture from my phone and it won't let me edit the post anymore;
  3. I don't think you would be disappointed with either bike but I would chose the Sprint as I already have one and I'm familiar with what I would be getting. The sprint will handle almost anything you can throw at it. More than likely a little heavier than a VFR 800 but will have more power and torque. I have no problem dragging pegs/feet on mine (Yes, I have bad body position). I rode it down to the Dragon, rode out to Arkansas and have done a track day on it amongst thousands of Ohio miles. With 36K miles and counting on the odometer the only thing that it doesn't do well is endless flat highway (a little buzzy) and riding through sand at 80 mph when you get off the pavement. Even those two things it did better than I could have hoped for.

  5. All these guys say their color is fastest yet the pictures they post are with their bikes parked. my picture is at least going fast even if red is slowest.
  6. I love my sprint. I ride alot at night and found the projector beam from the headlights wasn't great. I put aux driving lights on the front for a little more candlepower. Most of what the others have said is accurate to my experience. Comfortable on the long haul and still enough superbike thrown in to really carve a corner. Power delivery from the motor is very linear and makes a great noise under full power.
  7. Dude, if I sat on that one I think I could give anybody at Pelotonia a run for their money.
  8. Spent the weekend at the Mid-Ohio vintage races. Had it parked at pit 7 on Saturday and Sunday. If you were were there and interested I hope you got to see it. Price is negotiable. Send me a PM, I can give you my cell and we can talk if you want. All the rain made for a muddy time riding it around the track. Promise it has already been washed and is cleaned up.
  9. Last week before vintage. bumpity bump. Three Duc's in the garage and this one needs a new home.
  10. Your doing fine. In 2013 I rode from Columbus Ohio to Eureka Springs Arkansas and back. Roughly 2,100 miles in 6 days. This year for some reason seems to be either raining or mechanical issues on my weekends and I have done zip for mileage.
  11. You can keep the silly flag. I'll give her some support the old fashion way.
  12. The idle air control won't shut the motor down. It's an electric motor controller valve that adjusts airflow for the engine to idle at the correct speed. It opens and closes a small hole to allow air past the throttle blades. Same idea as opening the throttle just a crack but it's easier for the computer to control. Did you ever get the fuel pressure checked?
  13. I don't have a Panigale but I am up to 3 Ducati's at the moment. Agreed with Bubba, watch the service cost and intervals on the Ducati. I have picked up all the tools and do my own servicing, valve adjustments and belt changes these days. If it wasn't for that the Duc would be prohibitively expensive. I'm sure some other guys that own the Panigale will chime in soon but I have never heard an owner complain about wanting to get rid of one.
  14. Got a bump for added value and same great selling price. Bike got CycleCat full adjustable rearsets on it today. Comes with both GP shift and conventional shift levers so you can set it up however you want. GP shift is on it currently. New photo's, look it's even on a trailer ready to get delivered to your house. winkwink
  15. Your thinking about Cardinal Shooting center on 71 at rt 61. They do trap, sporting clays and 5-stand. I've shot sporting clays there one time, it's not a bad place and the prices are average. You also have Blackwing shooting up in Delaware. Not sure what's up in your part of the state. I started shooting sporting clays with an old Ithaca SxS 12 gauge. I can tell you that's not a great plan. It can be done but is very hard. A modern Semi-auto that is designed to feed low recoil shells can serve you very well for multiple years in all types of clays games. I ran a Browning Gold series sporting clays semi-auto for over 10 years and did very well with it for trap, skeet and sporting clays. Just make sure it's designed to feed low recoil shells. Most hunting guns won't cycle sporting clays loads. Only this year did I finally upgrade to an over-under. Broke down a spent my tax return on a Browning Citori 725, I'm still learning the gun but I like it so far.
  16. There was probably an 18 wheeler 3 turns behind him getting ready to block both lanes.
  17. Videos finished uploading. Sorry for the cell phone quality but just to show it runs and charges. https://youtu.be/GlBwyjuWMV4 https://youtu.be/jEjtTAHZvCY
  18. I am looking to sell my project track bike. It's a 1996 Ducati 900SS. Asking $3500, sorry no trades. Located just west of Pataskala, OH. I picked this up to have a project track bike but a better deal on a newer machine has come up and I need funding for the new bike. For the rest of the fun stuff. Disclaimers; Bike is track only, I don't have a title for it but I purchased it from a CPD police officer and can get you the history on at least the last 3 owners if really needed. The bike passes the NICB Vin check with no records on it. Vin is readable and not tampered with The good stuff. Frame has no cracks in the steering stem and is freshly powder coated. Wheels are fresh powder coat also. Lightweight aluminum swingarm. Bodywork is carbon fiber Sharkskin track profile. Paintjob is project track bike quality but could be buffed up if you wanted to spend the time. Fuel tank is OEM and inside is clean, no rust. New fuel pump installed. Engine has the 944 big bore kit, last major service done by Ducati Indy. Full aftermarket exhaust, was told the pipes are D&D but have not confirmed. Will say they are loud. Carbs are factory Mikuni CV carbs, I full stripped, bulk tank cleaned and reassmbled. They need final tuning and syncing. Brakes are brembo front and rear with new pads and new braiding stainless lines. I have brand new fluid cups for both the clutch and brake that will come with the bike. Cycle cat clutch cover Woodcraft clipons. I have done the following since I have had it. Oil change and filter. New Cam belts and the oil seal behind the cam belt driving pulley. New OEM opening and closing throttle cables. New Shorai lightweight lithium battery. Carbs cleaned and reassembled. Replaced the fuel pump inside the tank. If interested please feel free to ask any questions. This bike is still a project and I will represent it honestly.
  19. I have been a late adopter of Microsoft products since the windows millennium debacle years ago. I will wait this one out and see how it actually works for people once out in the wild.
  20. Add another line item to why I don't believe in cloud storage.
  21. What bike? They show that same greyed out map for several models when the motorcycle is still running an O2 sensor. It can't mess with the low end fuel map due to emissions restrictions and the fact that it will always be fighting the O2 sensor output to the stock ECU. If you have already performed an O2 sensor delete on your bike you should be able to get a "race" map that gives control from zero throttle all the way up.
  22. Currently the way I see it we really don't have "Clean" nuclear power yet either. It may not be dumping coal sludge into big pits, CO2 emisions causing global warming or the descruction of pristine land to mine the ever shrinking resources but what do you think those giant stockpiles of used fuel rods and the radioactive disasters like Fukashima are doing to the planet. You have just shifted the harm to our environment in a different direction that the media and talking heads are not currently concerned about it. And as an addon, who do you think has the largest Uranium mining operations in the world to get that nuclear fuel. It's not the USA, we are like #8 or so.
  23. Not sure what color is faster but I know mine will do 127mph down the back straight at Jennings GP and that's about all the speed I think my self preservation gland will allow.
