  1. Sorry but unless your facial tattoo's are Tā moko style Polynesian designs I would have doubts that your an upstanding person. If I was a cop I would be very guilty of profiling that dude.
  2. I made it over a few times. It's a good time. Can't wait for things to get rolling this year.
  3. Forgot to put it in the first post. It comes with 2 practice/dummy grenades and the fin kit so if you wanted to use the blanks, you can. I fired the one and even holding at a fairly low angle it will go 100 yards. Need lots of open space and very short grass or barren dirt to shoot these. I was gonna paint it safety yellow if I ever tried it again as it took 45 minutes to find it the last time.
  4. Looking to sell my Yugo Sks, asking $650 or negotiate on a trade for a generator. Very nice condition, stocks stamped as seen in the pictures. I got it as a new unfired gun around 12 years ago and have about 3k rounds through it. Well cared for and cleaned. Grenade sights work well. The night sights are weak but all the phosphor is still on them. All parts from the bolt, top cover, magazine, trigger group and stock are numbers matching. Top wood hand-guard for whatever reason is not. I know this seems a little high price wise but you are going to get the following added items with it. A full 1000rnd case of Wolf 123gr hollow-points. Fourteen 10rnd stripper clips. 90(or so) star crimped blanks for throwing grenades. And one very hard to use cleaning kit that goes in the stock. http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz180/vf1000rider/back%20room/IMG_5531.jpg~original http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/zz180/vf1000rider/back%20room/IMG_5532.jpg~original
  5. For all you guys that ice race the lakes. Here is your challenge for next year. You need to make this happen.
  6. So being that people are putting up pictures. The autocross event was when I realized how much was wrong with the car. The second picture was motor work and starting the suspension rebuild. It's back on the road now and doing better than it ever had since I've owned it.
  7. I have an '87 Buick Grand National for my fair weather, funday, car. It's been a project for me for the last 2 years with doing a top end motor refresh and a full suspension bushing retrofit.
  8. Still up for sale, now's the time to buy that vintage racer you've always wanted. Aircooled simplicity, no coolant to worry about draining in the winter time. Fantastic Ducati dry clutch sound.
  9. Well, being the weather is crap for outdoor shooting. I have been reloading .30-06, lots of it. I didn't load the AP ammo on the right but all of the standard FMJ rounds have been loaded in the last two weeks. There is 1008 total rounds of ammo in the picture all on Enbloc clips for the Garand rifle.
  10. The mechanical failure that caused the Ducati's to go down was probably the oil slick he hit from the line of Harley's blocking the road in front of him.
  11. How is that back on topic. Harley idiots have a fight at a bike show and people end up dead. This leads us to discuss the lack of Ducati reliability. You don't have to bust on us about that, any owner knows all about it already and accepts it as part of the charm .
  12. Dang that hurts man. I must be the rarity as I have 3 Ducati's, 2 of them are track bikes. I have never been to a starbucks and I don't drink wine. The hard truth is my Sportclassic(the road legal one) did have to get towed home twice last year and a third time I just pushed it back because I was close enough. The Italians can be finicky at times.
  13. Dude, you are seriously looking at the wrong side of Ducati It's NWS but check out the art by http://www.elizabethraab.com/--desm
  14. Fantastic skittles commercial. Feel the rainbow, be the rainbow.
  15. Sorry, the GN has been a real labor of love over the last year. Not really ready to give up and sell her yet.
  16. Bike still for sale. Price at $3000. Will be a nice bike for anybody that wants to do vintage racing or just kicking it at a trackday on a cool sounding machine.
  17. That's about how I feel sometimes. LoL. Every picture of me with the triumph I have my helmet on so you can't see my face. And never let them tell you that you can't go fast on a Sprint. With a few suspension tweeks and the right tires even track days are in this bikes bag of tricks.
  18. I have the throttlemeister on my '06 sprint. Works very nicely. I have been wanting a Multi since the latest generation came out but haven't been able to justify it due to my Triumph being that good of a bike. Hopefully you will enjoy yours. Nice choice.
  19. I'm the end user that manages to break everything and should be given a mouse with no buttons on it so I can't click on things.
  20. There were a few hiccups with the old Desmohio club with getting our DOC status renewed with Ducati. One of the easier ways to get things resolved was to start fresh. Most all the same people are involved but we are looking to be a little more PC for the brand. Hopefully Desmohio will stay around for all the hooligan antics.
  21. My sportclassic has the same rear brake issues as many Ducati's. In my case it's because there is a large section of the hose that goes up and over the swingarm between the master and the caliper. Roughly once a year when I am doing a tire change and the wheel is off the bike or whenever it gets bad I have to take my caliper off, shim the pads and hang it above the seat and bleed the system. Sure it's a design flaw on the bike that you can trap air in a section of the hose that's not bleedable but it's easy enough to remedy during normal bike maintenance. It causes me to spend an extra 30 minutes working on the bike 1-2 times a year, certainly not a good reason to disregard a bike for ownership.
  22. It's World Superbike rider Chaz Davies. The dudes like 6ft tall. Those new multistrada's just have a bunch of room on them to be comfortable. I've been drooling over one since they came out with the redesign several years ago and have only resisted test riding one because I know I will have to sell all my current bikes to go own one.
  23. Why Multistrada? Because pro riders look awesome dragging knee on them, just imagine how good you could look?
