I got a breakover gamo pellet gun that's shoots well, I'm actually impressed with its accuracy and pellets are dirt cheap even more than 22.

Id be more tempted to use a pellet gun for squirrels and small game especially if you live in town. Reminds me I need to pick up some pellets and check on the price for 22 by the case.

I see your point I've seen ballistic and numerous reports if I have to pull the trigger I won't them stopped in their tracks. Cops have hit stoned our guys with mags of 9 and 40 and they keep coming. I won't to stop them in their tracks and a 22 isn't the tool for the job it may do it over time, but hell I could be dead before the bad guy. You carry what you want but 380 is the smallest round I carry for self defense. I want immediate internal damage not the bullet to kill them days later. Is suggest you aim for the eyes or skull with that 22 if you want to drop them immediately.

Sorry I was off topic just wondering what it would do to the pumpkin compared to the 22. I was in no way advocating the use of an airsoft gun for self defense. If the 22 is all you have carry it, its better than nothing.

177 rnds vs what 10 in a walther mag big difference. Also a pumpkin isn't that similar to a human or dog that you would be going up against with a cc weapon. You have to penetrate the ribcage to get the vital organs and do enough damage so the bad guy looses enough blood to be neutralized the pumpkin has no ribcage and is soft. Still an interesting video, but doesn't support the 22 as a carry weapon in my book.

Headshots the 22 performs very well thats how my grandad killed himself. Yoi won't get the dame effect emptying a mag in the chest. I have a friend she carries a 22 because if she ever has to use her she just wants to wound the person. She tried to convince me you could shatter a person pelvis with q mag of 22, but I highly doubt it.

22s are better than nothing, but they don't do that much damage unless you get a round in the skull. Good luck stopping a drugged out gangbanger with your 22. Now 22 are an assassin wrapon, but you have to be up close and personal. I would not want to trust my life to a 22 stopping a bad guy.
