  1. Damn, Bubba. Glad to hear you're not physically worse off. Fuckin swear, some cagers. The inattentive, skill-free, phone-fried brains we have to watch out for anymore...sickening. Side note, I was strongly considering the RS myself a few years back before I settled into a used SprintGT. But I've since left the sport tour realm and traded into a Duke 890 that is just a superb blend of everything light, nimble, comfortable, lots of gadgets, it's power to weight is really fun, and priced nicely for everything you get.
  2. Sorry Doc, been out of the loop for some time now. My niece is visiting Saturday so wife & I are out. I'm not racing this season but Derek is so he wont make it either.
  3. Wife and I started with the Sena 20S and had good results. We've since upgraded to the 30K and found the audio has improved ( especially with the new mesh technology ) but ours are primarily used for communication and BT GPS direction with my phone or Zumo. I cant say anything good or bad about the Cardo, since I've no experience with them....but their systems seem to be just as popular as the Sena's. If you're partial to Sena, you could always upgrade to the 20S since you dont use the intercom features much, as the 30K's primary upgrade from the 20S was communication based.

    MSF Range Bikes

I agree that the naked bikes would be ideal...if not just for the initial price of the bike and cheaper repair costs since they're inevitably dropped. If liquid cooling plays a role in the decision process, there's measures to take to help with overheating ( coolant alternatives/additives like engine ice, water wetter, etc - maybe jumping the fan circuits so they run continuously? ). And honestly, no matter what bikes are used.....crash protection ( frame and axle sliders/bar ends ) would be a wise investment to alleviate damage, save on repair costs, and improve resale value later? China bikes and the like are probably top of the list for something like this since the value on Japanese bikes is pricier. Personally cant attest to the quality of them, but overseas they seem to flourish ( probably because they're a cheaper investment ). Finding a local dealer willing and able to play along may prove to be tougher since there's less of them involved with the non-jap/boutique brands....but may be worth looking into?
  5. Ah, the good ol days. I remember that particular ride @durk. When I first started leading group rides I was getting the biggest bite of the entire group since it was the most common pace. Couple of those Epic Rides in taught us to keep group size down to 10 between me and my sweep. Much easier to manage, and less of a hassle to turn 10 riders around when I'd blow past a route change LOL.
  6. Please PM me a price for a 2011 Triumph Sprint GT and a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300
  7. Good to hear. No matter the reason for the inspiration, just matters that you're inspired to be healthier buddy. Took me a long time to finally get on board full time, but it's paying off. Racing with OMRL drove me to begin my regiment, and it's stuck for 2 years now...so far so good, but it does eat up about 12 hours or more each week. Between that, work, and chores, I dont have nearly the internet time I used to...especially since working out puts me to bed at an earlier hour. Keep it up brother, get fit 👍

    Check Ya Nuts

Jim, good to hear you've got through it all ok. I definitely need to get to my doc about some recent concerns, and some other not so recent issues finally dealt with. Never thought I'd say this to another man, but....your testicle has given me inspiration?
  9. Good to see you made it out too, sorry we didn't get to hang much - practice day was obviously a rain out, and race day was crazy busy as usual
  10. Diet change since January got me off the plateau. Weighed in at 238 this morning putting me exactly 70 pounds down. Stronger than ever, and keep getting better. Keep up the good work everyone 💪
  11. I'm watching intently, thinking that Tomac and Roczen would be the pair to beat....but Cooper Webb is playing spoiler, taking advantage of Roger's expertise and doing pretty well. Ahhhh, Kenworthy's. Miss the old days at the Pro Ams. My Dad actually talked me into racing C class amateur back in 1987 and got to hang out with Ricky Johnson a lot that weekend. Worst racing experience of my life LOL, but one of the most enjoyable weekends of my life too. That was a fun track.
