Welcome. That KZ sounds like my 14 with the baffles out and the drag map lit . Good luck with the hunt

Ridiculous, and I agree with rollnhot.....pure over compensation. If that chain breaks, it'll take out whatever is in front of him

Another one? Amazing.....and here's Tony's story ( who I've known and worked with for over a decade ). http://www.inquisitr.com/917520/ohio-man-declared-dead-for-45-minutes-comes-back-to-life-video/ A damn good guy to know, hell of a mechanic, and I'm thankful he's back. He's completely modest and humble about everything he does, he'd help anyone out if they asked, and this story is just another facet of his life to him. He didn't want/expect any attention about all that he overcame, and doesn't remember what happened at all. Just about as lucky as lucky can get. When I started working with him back in '02 he was a scrawny little fella at maybe 150lbs, but he became the epitomy of health and fitness over 10 years time and ended up a fit and ripped opposite of his former self. Cardio for days on end, and had stacked on 75lbs of lean muscle mass. I couldn't believe how dedicated he was to fitness and proper eating habits. Consulted him regularly in my own efforts to lean out. Last I spoke with him about lifting, he was shrugging over 500lbs each arm and freeweight benching almost as much. Not sure if his physical condition played a part in his 2nd chance, but miraculous all the same.

Mmmmm GTRs.....If I hit the lotto, there'd be a GTR garage built out back to have a few colors to choose from

Good luck bro, I know we'd talked about some of this at work and I wish I had the answers man. You're going about it the right way, good Daddyness on you. You love your girls and always do what's right by them, so they're luckier than they know. Wish your ex was a better person and parent, who cared more for her own children, sad situation. Meagan seems like a good influence and glad you have her in your life to make things better at home too. Keep me posted man, I'll help however I can

You and me both, the view is awesome....not to mention the fishing/boating just 50yds from the front door. Cheap living and would have loved to have been able to have it for a vaca home, just wasn't practical to buy without relocating down there. Inspections went fine, the house is overbuilt and fairly new so now its just waiting for closing so I can get down there to help move Nice! Post a thread full of pics

THIS is the first thing I thought of when I read the first post. You dont want oil dumping in the path of the rear tire, nor starving the vitals of their precious lube. Street bikes vary in chain tension, but not by that much. I set mine to spec with 3/4" or so of slack measured from the top run. Glad the shop made things right, but a bit scary it happened in the first place. Good on ya for questioning the setup, could have eventually caused some damage or worse yet....a crash.

Contract just accepted, sale pending

I didnt save it either, I simply took it for granted that the pics would remain until the drawing was over.....so now I'm anxiously waiting for the phone to ring to see which prize I've deservingly won

Fog line is the narrow rumble strip past the white line, so you can find the edge of your lane in poor visibility or when you're too busy rubbing one out down the turnpike to pay attention to your driving. I rarely stay next to anyone on the highway, I either pull ahead or slow down to get away from any future idiocy or their general lack of responsibility in vehicle operations

You'll dig it here, anti-scooter nazi or not. Nice CB too

Great to hear, congratulations! You'll definitely be making some awesome life long memories. Cant wait to see the photos

Are you pressing races in/out as well? My wife mentioned this to me as well so her 300 will get replacements soon too. Haven't researched to know what the issue is, but is it under/over torqued stem nuts or just crap OEM bearings? Good replacements at a fair price would be AllBalls or Timkens. Not a difficult chore, the hardest part is to get the bike supported so the forks can come off

Ah, ok....guess I never saw Owen then. He said... And our guy was tall, dark, and black ( though I cant attest to the handsome portion since I dig on vageenas )

I've had a similar episode Greg. Was trailing a Clark County Sheriff westbound Rt41, maybe 100yds behind him. A car comes around a blind turn at a good rate and the deputy locks em up to almost a 180 degree whip and still in my lane. I gripped the binders hard and the front of my bike dove hard but never lost control or locked the front. I threw up my hands as he went by but didn't seem to phase him, apparently late model Crown Vics aren't equipped with motorcycle compliant mirrors

What I meant was who is ever racing at 100% health, at all times. But I agree about the level these guys compete at and still being able to almost pull a W in his condition, makes Marquez more formidable and determined. Lots of these guys have shown warrior-like heart too, and championships can be won having awesome bad days like he had yesterday.

I agree about Spies, Brian. I've been following him since his Superstock days over here. I reveled at his success in SBK, WSBK, and his first podium in MotoGP. But, I had higher hopes he'd be contending more for the top 5 after his move to the factory Yamaha. Seemed he fought harder on the Tech3. He definitely doesn't perform well, if at all, when he's not at 100% ( but who ever is? ) Tons of other riders compete well when under huge pressure, major injury, or lackluster equipment.....at this rate, I'd guess another 5 years and Ben will have a microphone and a camera following him around the paddocks

I hear ya, and it very well could have been a localized pain med injection ( nerve blocker of sorts ) but he still ran the damn wheels off that bike like he always does. I miss Stoner too, that would have made things much more interesting
-
I'm guessing they may have checked out his motor skills prior to the race? All the racers have to sign the waiver, so long as he didn't show signs of failing to control the bike I dont see any harm in it. Considering the naturally inherent danger of the sport and all

Owen, were you leading Novice grp 7 at Putnam 8/24? Believe we had you confused with another instructor, which is hard to believe since you're like the tallest guy there that day
