  1. Figures.....from what I can tell, the freebies are all west coast tracks
  2. Starboys stunt crew around Cleveland used to host courses and teach you various stunts, but that's been many years ago. Not sure they're even in business anymore. Rode with a guy over a decade ago that went through their classes and he could do some cool shit, but he'd do it in the middle of a group ride. Quit riding with all the crazy guys not long after that, just too much liability to act a fool on the public roads. I do know you'll beat the ever loving shit out of a bike or 2 before you're seasoned, at least that's been the norm with stunters I've talked to, so it's an expensive hobby
  3. PLEASE keep me posted. I'd love to spectate/help when I can
  4. Not to discourage you, but you might boil over in that jacket during the summer months. I'd say you'd be more comfortable in a perforated leather jacket, but again....I dont want to discourage you from wearing protective gear, just know there are options that are more comfortable.
  5. Any plans to run the ZX12 this year?
  6. Just got our stuff ( leather jacket for me and boots for the wife ). Mike's good at what he does, his work ethic speaks volumes, as well as their awesome prices. Thanks again Mike
  7. Nice -- looks like a more versatile bike than a GSXR - Congrats
  8. Welcome. About an hour and a half south of you. Maybe someday we should setup a OhioRiders meet around Lima? Heard good things about Beer Barrel Pizza, just unsure how good the riding is north of Indian/StMarys lakes
  9. Not sure if you've already committed to a suit or not, but I found this source for inexpensive leather. Some of these suits are much cheaper than textile too. http://www.topgearleather.com
  10. I should've elaborated a bit more and explained I "feel more comfortable" cornering left vs right. I'm much better now than I've ever been before thanks to some track time, but of course I'm still FAR from proper with body position in hard cornering.
  11. 9 days? That's awesome. Cheers and here's to a quick and painless sale
  12. Consider it an "opportunity for happiness" rather than "devilish temptation"
  13. I'm the same way. Can't tell you why either, assuming it's because I'm right handed
  14. I've no clue what their payscale is at the MSS warehouses, but apparently there's a monthly bonus paid out to their workforce. I hear it's upwards of 1600 DontGivaFuckWhenYouNeedits
  15. I hadn't ordered much from them in the past, just a random order maybe every other year or so, and never had an issue until this month. Another snag I had ( same wrong helmet ordeal from earlier in this thread ) is that they'd signed/received my return on March 10th, and after giving them a full week to credit my account, still nothing. I sent 2 emails to customer service explaining my dilemma this past Sunday, March 20th. By Monday afternoon I hadn't got a response back, so I called them. The rep told me that it was sitting in the system unprocessed and she pushed it through. Money hit my account yesterday the 22nd. Took 12 days to get a refund for their mistake. UPS performed their job flawlessly though
  16. Sweet -- another triple threat to the pack! Get crackin' on it pistachio! The rain may have stopped just before we got home as well last year. Always the case. Kind of like looking for something and it's ALWAYS in the last place you look
  17. Do you carry Pirelli Angel GT's? If so, please quote me on a set 180/55-17 ( non A spec ) and 120/70-17
  18. Chatted with a guy in Cali many years ago online who'd built an old CBX1100 6er. And iirc, he cut like 60 pounds out of it, CBR F2(?) shortened front end with a custom triple that brought the rake in, CBR wheels/brakes, cant remember the shock setup. Anyway, spent thousands on it just to cut up the local canyons and Mullholland on something different. This isn't his, but it was very close to this cafe... Love these old renno jobs. "At home" engineering is always cool shit
  19. I bet it sounds fat and rowdy That inch more in the rear probably gives it a bit sportier feel ( pending sag ). Are the forks stock?
  20. Fuck yes. Built bikes always have a bigger cool factor. No air filter(s), no baffle in the megaphone, and what shocks did you go with?
  21. Bah, cant see the dirt once you're over 1000 feet anyway. Nice cruiser
  22. Welcome. Pics of the aircraft PLEASE
