W the fuck happened to shipping rates? I got a box full of brass close to that size shipped from NEO a year ago for way less than that. UPS/FEDEX any cheaper?
-
Nice equipment
-
Broheim, you can rent a trailer at Uhaul for like $15
-
Is the $10 per bike entry to cover the oil cleanup after they've gone?
-
No, but it's on my list of must sees

Texted for pics

Huh? I could flatrate USPS those for less than $8 in Ohio

Bah, damn. There were Icon, Scorpion, Astar, and Cortech sport leather jackets there a couple weeks ago - but I wasn't shopping for pants so I didn't look for any, just assumed they had stock. All the way at the back before you get to the used bike area were the Zero-60 1 piece suits. I know they're cheaper than your bigger brands, but not sure what the pricetags are on 'em

You may be able to find some decent dualsport tires to run on the track with your current wheel/brake setup. Do you have a 19" rear and 21" front?
-
If we swapped bikes, you'd probably fall in love with the orange beast and I'd never catch you to get my bike back. I'd let you take some laps at the Kartway on it sometime though since it's fenced in

Welcome. Thanks for your service. I take my SMC to G&J Kartway in Camden now and then. Once you get some sticky 17's under your Zuki, hit me up and we'll get some track time in!

Was going to recommend him. He's pretty savvy, but not sure of his schedule - he's a busy guy most of the time. Sorry I dont have the time for a while and I'm not near as knowledgeable

You would know more than I, but a hydro tensioner on a KZ305 seems overkill on Kawi's part - ratcheting tensioner makes more sense though. I agree it's valvetrain is out of adjustment, but I had an old KZ550 that would make a similar knocking rattle below idle because my chain guides were worn down to the nubs ( 35k hard miles and neglect ) and the case slapping almost resembled his issue.

Welcome. Good call on the course, best way to learn the fundamentals

Dirtbikes are very prone to this as well. I've never owned a used one that didn't have a notched basket.
-
So you didn't do any shimming changes, just checking clearances? I think most of the noise may just be some timing chain slap at low revs, may need a little tensioner adjustment but let an experienced hand do that since it's hard to tell from just the vid audio. The noise quiets down some when the clutch is disengage because you're taking additional rotating mass off of the engine.

Between his numbingly headstrong nonsense combined with complete public disregard = business management major with a minor in hip hairstyling.

Not sure where you're located, but Iron Pony in Westerville is WELL worth the trip to try on several brands and decifer what fits you best. They have some good deals here and there too. Trying things on is the only way I've been able to figure out the sizing differences in various brands for my build. Some jackets I'm a 3X but the arms are always too long, ( apparently wide framed guys are supposed to be over 6'6" ) whereas Scorpion and Speed&Strength jackets in a 2X is perfect for me. You dont want it loose, form fitting is key so the protective armor and pads dont shift around should you hit the deck, and it's actually more comfortable since it doesn't ball up in the wrong places or roomy seams move around and may split your jibblets. BUT, you also need to be able to breathe, and have enough freedom to move around the bike in it too. Trial and error via internet ordering will just prolong your agony in finding proper fitting gear

Had a good Easter. Blew the dust off the bikes on a short ride to my Dad's for a family gig. There was tons of ham, greenbean casserole, pasta salads, deviled eggs, and several desserts.....but I managed to eat in moderation instead of the usual gorging, topped off with just 1 cookie. I'm sure Sunday's abstinence will be followed up with a tremendous fail soon enough. Weather was beautiful for March. Loving this kind of winter for sure

Dismount, install plug patch, reinflate.....$20. But you'll spend more than that in fuel to get to my place
