We did a MTM meet last fall and, as you know, only had 7 or 8 show up. But, that place is pricey. It was a nice venue to have quiet and comfy conversation though - which is enticing. I just hate yelling at the person sitting next to me because of uncivilized drunken fools at the bar feel they have to make a lot of racket

3/12/16 ( the weekend prior ) we're having a meet at Dark Horse Tavern.

I grind peg feelers at medium/medfast pace most every time I ride down in SEO, even though most of the turns are banked. I'd expect to drag hardparts on a lowered bike if you tried to ride much over slow groups pace. Not saying DONT ride the cruiser, but it would definitely be easier to keep up on a more twisty suited machine. But the cruiser would make the ride to and from home much more pleasant

Are they taxable at all, or considered nontaxable to a certain amount? Seems it would make it easier for more of us to help him directly. EDIT According to their support center Q&A, it's tax free unless a substantial amount is received - then it could be deemed taxable income. No straight answer is given, just that some specific cases may prove taxable. Either way, even if he gets a 1099 next year, he needs the money now. EDIT I've pm'd Travis to see if this is an option he's even willing to accept, but hopefully he does as this would allow more of us to help him out

And if commissions are part of the wage package, it would vary considerably with the employee's work ethic, marketability in that geographic, and the size of the company's showroom inventory. I've heard averages around $45k for motivated salesmen, but that was at superstore stock levels too.
