  1. When I'd checked booking, the Hemlock was taken so the wife and I had to book a Maple single bed cabin. It wasn't on the original reservation, but she ( Marie Rogers ) graciously added it for me. They take a deposit equivalent to a nights stay, then the remainder is paid when you check in ( or maybe at checkout )
  2. He likes meat so much, he said it twice....in the same sentence
  3. That just means it wasn't meant for you......keep shopping, your bike will eventually reveal itself
  4. Welcome - obligatory pics of the bikes?
  5. Wife and I probably should've cancelled on the spring epic ride last year. We live 30 minutes north of I-70 and barely 30 minutes east of Indiana, so we had over a 2.5 hour ride home in the sub 50 degrees pouring rain, and without rain gear. We bought FrogTogs before our gap trip last summer, so lesson obviously learned. You made the right call skipping, the ride was fine until halfway through the ride route, from then on it was soak city.
  6. Jack, this is the guy who can tip you off on the best riding around Springfield area.
  7. I dont think they make skinny jeans in extra-4-man-puptent, do they?
  8. Good man. Just wanted to be sure you understood beforehand. I'm not very Springfield experienced with the good roads, but you head west and you'll find some good rides north of HuberHeights closer to Miami county. Or head south of Dayton to the Rt 350 area and there are some good rides there as well
  9. Just FYI since I know you're a new rider. This will be about a 400 mile day in all, and a lot of interstate riding as well. I don't want to discourage you from giving it a go, just know it's not a simple short jaunt around some backroads. I've added a link to the Epic Ride thread that this leads up to
  10. Pretty sure this is a go. I'll lead a medium paced group and if a more experienced sweep doesn't volunteer, my wife can handle a broom Here's the link to the western and central pre ride meet up... https://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/109500-western-and-central-meetride-to-5212016-epic-ride/
  11. Ok folks, let's meet at Competition Accessories on Sunday, May 22nd 2016, around 7:30am before fueling up at the Shell station on the corner of Leffel Ln and S Limestone ( Rt72) to trek eastward. Competition Accessories 343 W Leffel Ln Springfield, OH 45506 Kickstands up to be eastbound on I-70 from CompAcc @ 8am sharp. Since this is a duplicate of last year's ride route and further east than years past, we'll keep the secondary meet point in SE Columbus, giving some southern and central Ohio area riders another collection point to hookup with an OR group to ride in with, and give us westerners a 20-30 minute break from the slab. We should be at this secondary meet point just before 9am. Eastland Shell Mini Mart 2191 South Hamilton Road Columbus, OH 43232 Plan to head back out from there no later than 9:20ish to ensure we reach the Epic Ride meet point in New Concord by 10:15-10:30am. Here's where we're heading... https://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/109494-unofficial-epic-ride-2016-may-21-2016/
  12. Supermotojunkie forum has a mini section that's full of info, but not a lot for sale there as far as minis
  13. I apologize for the huge mistake on my part. My wife has graciously corrected me that the title's have been mailed out after the purchase ON BIKE'S I FINANCED, it's the bikes I've bought privately that were signed over same day. Sorry Jack, had a bad case of HeadUpAssitis I guess

Been shooting mine since last spring, and she got her rifle in 2013. Both guns are great shooters. Her scope is an upgrade from a 30mm red dot. I just posted up because I finally got done upfitting them both and hadn't posted about my 20" build yet. Her's has way more tacticoolness than before, and probably comes in at 5 or 6 pounds lighter than mine too. I wanted a longer range weapon, whereas she wanted a smaller/easy-to-handle carbine
  15. Yes sir. At the top it should say something to that effect.
  16. Odd. Mine have always been included the day of sale. Even if there's a lapse between the temp expiration and new registration, that's no biggie - I believe the DMV will just prorate your new tag for the remainder EDIT - this is false info. The only time my title's have been included on the day of sale is when I've purchased privately without financing.
  17. Bike plates in Clarke county are around $50 ( I think ). Not sure about vanities though
  18. Your memorandum title should be in your loan packet with all the paperwork. At least mine have always been included. Check to be sure, and if its not there then call the dealership EDIT - this is false info. Financing a bike = you'll be mailed a memorandum title

Finally got mine and the wife's black bang sticks done yesterday. My first crack at it and saved me quite a bit of cash overall. Nothing special, just wanted to share. Here's mine... SAA Upper w/M4 feeds, Element Arms lower, BlackHole Weaponry 20" Hbar, CMMG lpk with a little extra sear work, SAA flattop gasblock, LuthAR MBA precision buttstock, H2 heavy buffer, YHM 15" FF quadrail, GVN foregrip, LEDsniper rapid transition BUIS, NCStar Mark III 6-24x50 30mm scope, SAA Nib bcg, 6-9 Champion bipod. Plan to add a PA M4-72 compensator, then it will be done. And hers... Started life as a DPMS Oracle. Upfitted a 3G Tactical custom machined 15" FF forearm, 3G low pro gas block/tube, UTG 4-16x50 30mm scope, GVN foregrip, LEDsniper rapid transition BUIS, 9-11 Champion bipod. I've got a Spartan Multiprong fishbone compensator to install on hers yet.
  20. Impressive. I couldn't imagine his level of constipation after that
