Sorry for the delay guys, I was out sick the past couple days. Catching up now.

So I installed the Air Mouse server onto the same co-worker's computer after he left yesterday. If you don't know what this is, it's basically a fully functioning keyboard and mouse along with shortcuts built into the app on your iOS device. Every so often I'll move his mouse as he's trying to click something, random key inputs, new tabs opening in his browser, or change the current window on top. He's already changed the batteries on his wireless keyboard and mouse... There's so much more I can do with this, but keeping it subtle so as not to blow it on the first day.

The Shoei X-12 B-Boz 2 looks great with the optional dark smoke shield. Be sure to ask about adding one to any helmet order and we’ll get them shipped out together.

Just make sure you're supporting any one of the site vendors on your final purchase.

HJC RPHA-10 Jorge Lorenzo Monster Replica Helmet
RidersDiscount replied to RidersDiscount's topic in Sponsors
Yes. The aero advantage will net you .4 seconds a lap. -
Definitely do not lower that bike if at all possible. I got used to flat footing one foot at a light or tip toeing it, if I need to back up I hopped off and pushed it back. I like numbers, so I try to put things in a numerical perspective for decisions like this. You're feet are on the pegs and you're riding and comfortable 90-95% of the total time out but you're trying to fix something that would only be a problem maybe 5-10% of the time. The cons outweight the pros in this case.

Jorge Lorenzo is back as the defending MotoGP champion, and he’s doing it with a new lid from HJC. The HJC RPHA-10 is a helmet that was designed to provide a high level of performance at a light weight. Amazingly, it does both of these at a very reasonable price as well. The shell of the RPHA-10 is an advanced composite that combines carbon fiber, fiberglass epoxy, aramid epoxy and organic fibers in a precisely aligned weave that excels in strength, energy absorption and weight savings. HJC calls this their Performance Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.) construction and it saves weight by reducing unnecessary overlap and resin build-up. The PIM shell is not only strong and light, but it is also aerodynamic and quiet thanks to extensive CAD design and wind-tunnel testing. A hot helmet is an uncomfortable helmet, so HJC made sure that the RPHA-10 is able to keep your head cool and comfortable in warm weather. Ventilation comes from two large intakes on the top of the head, and one on the chin. All three are highly adjustable to allow for variable amounts of airflow depending on the conditions. These vents move a lot of air through the helmet without the higher noise levels that can come from some ventilation systems. Inside the shell, the full-removable/washable SilverCool liner helps wick away moisture and features a Gingko extract coating for a natural anti-bacterial guard. All RPHA-10 helmets come with HJC’s newest HJ-20 Pinlock shield and insert for the best in fog prevention. These shields also feature an easy to use center locking mechanism that prevents the shield from accidentally popping open if you turn your head to look behind you or to the sides. If you’re interested in the RPHA-10 Lorenzo Monster, or any other HJC helmet, you can get in touch with Nathan for expert sizing advice or to place an order. Feel free to send him a message through this forum or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. You can also send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!

Leather is very strong, but heavy and somewhat stiff. Textiles are light and flexible, but this comes at the expense of some abrasion resistance. The Speed and Strength Seven Sins Leather/Textile is a hybrid jacket that uses a combination of these materials to provide the the best of both worlds. Premium cowhide leather covers nearly the entire front of the Seven Sins jacket, as well as the shoulders and outer arms. Other areas like the back, sides and inner arms use a very tough and flexible textile called AR-600 textile. The textile blends well with the leather and it is easy to mistake it for a full leather jacket from the front. This blend also helps aid ventilation, with perforated leather in the upper chest providing air for the front and large zippered vents in the rear allowing hot air to be pulled away from your back. Impact protection under the shell comes from CE-certified armor in the shoulders and elbows. The back features a dual density protector that is not CE-certified, but can be upgraded. Overall, the hybrid construction works well and results in a jacket that is safe and very comfortable to wear. If you’re interested in the Speed and Strength Seven Sins Leather Textile Jacket, you can get more info by contacting Nathan through this forum or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809. You can also feel free to send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM if that’s more convenient, and we’ll get right back to you! The Speed and Strength Seven Sins Leather/Textile jacket is shown here in black. It is also available in White/Black and Stealth, which has blacked out logos. Leather covers the front, shoulders and outer arms. AR-600 textile covers the back, sides and inner arms. Note the large zippered vents running down the back. MSRP - $249.95

The AGV Horizon is a new offering from the Italian brand that enters the line-up as a replacement for the Stealth SV. This aggressively contoured helmet is notable for bringing together a combination of high-end features and an internal sunvisor at an affordable, mid-range price. At a glance, the new Horizon cuts an aggressive profile that is visually striking. The aerodynamic shell is made of a new composite material that AGV calls Carbonglass. It is a mix of carbon and fiberglass provides mix of strength and lightness. The shell also has AGV’s IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) built into it like their top-end GP-Tech. Vents above the forehead allow air to enter the channels in the shell that move it quietly and efficiently throughout the helmet. These upper vents, combined with the intakes on the chin, and the plush, moisture-wicking Dri-Lex liner mean that the Horizon keeps your head feeling fresh as well as safe. The eyeport of the AGV Horizon provides excellent horizontal and vertical visibility through the anti-fog, anti-scratch, and uv-resistant shield. This area is also home to the drop down internal sunvisor. The visor is fully retractable and easily rotates up into the shell when not needed. It is simple to adjust the visor using the switch behind the left shield basplate, even with a gloved hand. One feature that is unique to the Horizon and its sibling, the Skyline, is the PVM (Personalized Visor Mechanism). Each helmet comes with three color coded ratcheting pieces for the shield’s baseplates that allow you to customize the way that it operates. The helmet comes with the touring piece installed, which lets the visor lock open or closed, and has intermediate “soft” teeth in between. The first optional piece is what we consider to be the most useful, and is called the urban setting. It allows the shield to be locked in intermediate positions like being cracked slightly open. The second optional piece is called race and only locks the shield fully open or closed. AGV produces the Horizon in a variety of color options, all of which can be viewed on our website, RidersDiscount.com. They include solid colors and two graphics called Racer and Absolute. If you're interested in the Horizon, or any other AGV helmets, feel free to give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. If email is more convenient, feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The AGV Horizon is shown here in the Absolute Italy color. The red switch behind the shield mechanism on the left side adjusts the internal sunvisor. The Absolute Italy features an Italian flag motif, with red on the left... ... and green on the right side of the helmet. The red tab on the side plate controls the drop down sun visor. The colors of the Absolute Italy graphic compliment the AGV logo perfectly. AGV’s Personalized Visor Mechanism means that you can customize the way the the shield ratchets by switching to the optional pieces shown. The blue pieces on the left provide the race setting that locks fully open or closed. The green pieces on the left provide the urban setting that lets you lock it at different intervals between open and closed.
