  1. Nathan will be out of the office starting Monday July 30 at 4pm EST. He'll be back Sunday evening Aug 5. If you need anything at all, simply ring Mike at 866.931.6644 x 804, or email him at michael@ridersdiscount.com for the same RD service. Thanks!
  2. Unfortunately they are totally sold out and this is just what's left on our shelves.
  3. The interior of the Mach 5 is shown here, with the shoe pouches and the visor pocket. Remove the visor pocket from the Mach 5 and you have the interior of the Mach 3. Going with the Mach 1 will still give you a versatile bag with the laptop storage, but no lining or shoe pockets. Soft padding is found on the back of both the Mach 5 and 3, but not the Mach 1. This padding helps keep you comfortable and leaves a channel open in the center for air to flow through. All three use the same molded, aerodynamic shell, with the only differences being the exterior finish. In this photo the Mach 5 is on the left, the Mach 1 in the center, and the Mach 3 is on the right.
  4. Backpacks can be an essential part of travelling or commuting on a bike, but most standard packs are not designed for that purpose. Motorcycle riders generally require a different set of features, and that is exactly the group that OGIO No Drag series caters to. There are three backpacks in the OGIO No Drag line. They are the Mach 1, Mach 3, and Mach 5. All three share the same basic shape and use a streamlined, molded shell that reduces drag whether the pack is full or not. This is because the shell is rigid and holds its shape at speed. The finish of the shell is differs between the three bags, but all are a high quality and water resistant to help keep your belongings dry in case you encounter some wet weather. Other shared features include a pocket for a hydration bladder and a protective laptop compartment that fits most notebooks up to 15”. From here, features and storage space varies, with the largest and most fully featured being the top of the line Mach 5. Ogio No Drag Mach 5 The Mach 5 has the most storage thanks to its zippered expansion gusset. When fully expanded it gives 1475 cubic inches of storage. Storage space is organized and well thought out, with individual pockets for a spare faceshield, electronics, small items, and even your shoes. The Mach 5 is a very comfortable backpack with its padded back panel and straps. The pads also help keep a channel open down the center of your back to allow airflow. The molded shell of the Mach 5 is finished in a carbon weave pattern that we think looks great, and the addition of reflective piping and logos helps keep make you more visible on the road. Ogio No Drag Mach 3 The Mach 3 keeps nearly all of the same features as the Mach 5, but it does not have the expansion pocket, carbon weave finish, or the interior pouch for a spare shield. This means that it has 1125 cubic inches of storage, or about 350 cubic inches less than the expanded Mach 5. In place of the carbon weave look, the Mach 3’s outer shell is a smooth, flat black with synthetic fabric panels separating the sides from the center. Ogio No Drag Mach 1 Coming in at the base of the No Drag series is the Mach 1. This bag is the same size as the Mach 3 at 1125 cubic inches, but it does lack some of the bells and whistles. The interior has the laptop and hydration pockets, but the rest is unlined. The exterior finish is more restrained as well, with a uniform, tough, black synthetic material covering the molded shell instead of the more elaborate finishes and reflective piping/logos of the other two. The back is doesn’t have as much padding as the two higher models, but it is still a comfortable pack. The Mach 1 may lack some of the finish and features of the Mach 3 and 5, but it is still a solid choice that offers a lot of bang for the buck. With their motorcycle specific features, sleek aerodynamics, and high quality OGIO construction, you really can’t go wrong with any of the No Drag backpacks. Riders Discount has all three available to you (along with the entire OGIO motorsports line), so get in touch with Nathan if you're interested. You can give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 or shoot him a PM through the forum. 9. I have set of rains mounted already on wheels with rotors, matched weaker pads zip tied to said rotors, as well as sprocket and carrier that I keep in the closet in my apartment. no fuss, or guess work if I ever needed to switch. I have a brand new rear, and the older "knobby" front rain (i believe the modern version looks similar to the rear now). The guy who changes my tires now swears by the knobby front I have now. As far as date codes, Brian would have more experience about that question.
  10. The Shoei X-12 is the preferred helmet of Riders Discount Vesrah Suzuki AMA racing team and, out of all the available options, the graphic that sees the most track time is definitely the Vermeulen 5. This is because the striking design has been preferred helmet choice of both Joey Pascarella and Cory West throughout the 2012 season. The Vermeulen 5 replica features an eye-catching, black and yellow paint scheme that uses flame patterns, pinstripes and blocks of color to great effect. The flawless paint is laid onto the aerodynamic shell Shoei’s flagship X-12, so it doesn’t just look good, it also does what helmet is supposed to do - keep you safe. You can read all about the features of the X-12 on our website. Feel free to get in touch with Nathan if you’re interested or have any questions about this, or any other Shoei helmet. You can shoot him PM or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext 809. If you’d rather email us, send a note to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away. The Shoei X-12 Vermeulen 5, shown here with an optional dark smoke shield. MSRP $839.99 The X-12 Vermeulen has been seen on Cory West... …and Joey Pascarella throughout the 2012 AMA season.
  11. The progressive suspension link that comes stock on the 2011+ ZX-10R works great on the street and with a passenger, but it does leave something to be desired during aggressive riding. If you plan on doing any racing, track days, or aggressive canyon riding, we highly recommend switching the stock, progressive suspension link out for a linear link from Attack Performance. Attack Performance set out to improve the handling characteristics and reduce the problematic understeer that the stock Gen 4 ZX-10R can have, and they definitely succeeded in doing both. The Attack link allows you to get on the throttle earlier and hold a tighter line through corners, meaning that you can gain confidence and ultimately see faster lap times. This Attack suspension link kit is not yet available on our website, so be sure to contact Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 if you’re interested or have any questions. If email is more convenient for you, send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get to you right away!
  12. The Limited Edition "Raw" is sold out now but we just received a new shipment in of the other colors.
  13. T-Handle sockets can be found in just about every professional bike mechanic’s toolbox thanks to their ability to make many jobs easier and faster. If you’re looking to add T-Handle convenience to your toolbox, but don’t want to worry about fitting an entire set, Motion Pro has the answer in their square drive Spinner T-Handle. The Motion Pro Spinner T-Handles feature your choice of ⅜” or ¼” sizes so that you can snap your own sockets right on and go right to work. Similar to standard T-Handle sockets, the Spinner has a lot of reach, allowing you to get into hard to reach areas without losing the leverage you need to break loose a stubborn bolt. The feature that sets it apart from others is the addition of floating spinner grip on the shaft of the tool. This lets you firmly hold the socket in place while spinning it freely in either direction. To further aid in the spinning of the tool, Motion Pro gave it a heavy, rubber coated handle that gives you a comfortable grip. The Motion Pro Spinner gives you the same speed and convenience of a standard set of T-Handle sockets, but with a lot of added versatility and a lifetime warranty. You can order yours from Riders Discount by getting in touch with Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or by sending a PM through this forum. If email is more convenient, feel free to send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Motion Pro Spinner T-Handle The Spinner T-Handle features a heavy, rubber coated grip that makes it easy to get leverage and to spin it. ⅜” square drive (also available in ¼”) means that you can grab one of your sockets and go right to work. The blue anodized spinner section is laser etched and features low friction bearings for easy spinning while you keep pressure on the fastener.
