This might be the last ride for 2014 Only saturday with no rain Rochester hills Mi > detroit Mi> Toledo Oh > bowling green OH > fostoria OH > shelby OH > loundonville OH > Millersburg OH> coshocton OH >Caldwell OH and return IF saturday and sunday clear Rochester hills Mi > detroit Mi> Toledo Oh > bowling green OH > fostoria OH > shelby OH > loundonville OH > Millersburg OH> coshocton OH > caldwell > woodsfeild > marietta> waterford > glouster > Athens (stay around here ) and sunday return If rain on both days Bed> breakfast > garage > change oil > wash bike > battery tender If any one around these areas interested in joining for any part of the trip plz pm me, we can plan on time and spot etc. Ended up spending the day in michigan itself

by thursday i was almost sure i cant make it, but kept a faint hope alive till saturday morning. By 4 AM the final nail on that coffin was put. There was no way i could make it down there in time and get back to finish stuff I txted derek and jerry earlier that i wont be able to make it. Didnt want to post here and bring in more negativity. Yesterday was perhaps the first epic ride with a great weather prediction, and one of the best riding days out there. And i couldnt make it Every second i look outside it was painful, i kept txting jerry to hear about the progress and called him for a report vicariously living the ride through his presence. Heard the names of all the regulars and new comers, missed meeting you all. Derek as always doing an outstanding job, Wolfman hats off to you to come out and help. What happened to dan? no news from him these days. Anyways regarding what Derek said regarding expanding llcing etc, Was waiting for this ride to talk to many in person but alas it didnt happen Would like to know opinion of all but its impossible to communicate with each and every one. So was thinking of pming at least couple of regulars from each zone. Its a hard call to keep it simple while interesting. First priority will always be the ride and the riders itself i guess. Will Leave it to majority opinion.

Honestly they seemed to have the most fun with good breaks, chit chat, in between and ice creams stop at the end.

i might jump in with you guys if at all i can make it to the ride. Even if the pace is not my first preference , leaving the lot early and getting the ride done early helps me to get back home early I will peel off from mcconnelsville ohio to 83 and back up.

Mike, I am from troy Rochester hill area, I ride down to Ohio and back at least one day a month. Its a pretty long but fun ride for about 700 miles. Wish I had two day break to go down stay and come back. Anyways for the epic ride I am prolly planning to ride down Friday and then come back Saturday depending on the off days I get.

back home, another crazy ride. Cut back on the trip a lot as it was exhausting as hell with the humidity and heat. kept it under 700 miles. Thank god for the few showers. Entire ride to ohio i got rained on, well sprinkled. But once we hit the good roads it was clean, dry and hot. Saw the big muskie for the first time after passing back and forth in front of it for four years lol once again thx jacob for coming out, its nice to meet and ride with some one other than doing the whole ride alone.
