Not much riding to do here. So just sit and surf internet for useless motorcycle related stuff. And been reading a lot about hayabusa. Ever since my early 20s always been looking up to own a busa just because of its iconic status. Always loved its unorthodox looks.. But my practical mind made me choose a very practical bike, the VFR. Now…. that I don’t ride much, other than the usual stroll around here, pretty much garage queen, and only possible ride is once in a while ohio trip I been thinking of getting the busa LOL Its these images of a sport touring busa (not the hip hop busa) Weight wise its same as VFR, wheel base wise similar. I dont plan to tackle corners with a knee down. Just cruise while lying on top of tank which i am comfortable than upright. I know for sure its not the best bike to tour, its not the best bike to go fast, its not the best bike on anything.. but something I just cant take my mind off, I am obsessed with it and been looking at for sale threads almost buying one when I saw a good deal. Very true, even in group rides i tend to do this more often now. I let them all go ahead and just ride my ride at the back not trying to keep any one in sight. And i dont overly slow down to the point that the group has to wait a lot. Thus i enjoy my ride and pace and get to hang out with others at fuel stops for some chit chat. That way i am getting the best of both worlds The statement about slowing down was purely my personal opinion, to me there was a time when i was trying every day to get better and better and in effect trying to be faster. But now i have reset myself to the point that i just enjoy the actual ride and company of fellow riders. Less adrenaline more endorphins i guess

Derek whaler, Glad you guys are okay, that video and the sound at the end is really a wake up call, I feel I should slow down even further, almost every one I rode with are good riders and move really really fast, and every time they are pushing the envelope a little more. We all gotta slow down a notch guys In group rides I guess we all keep pushing each other bit by bit, some body just gotta say hold back a bit I guess. I for sure will every time now on

Glad you are okay, I been in OR since last few years, seen and heard of many crashes and all guys walked away with minimal injury and all of them were wearing good gear. This community needs a lot of kudos for instilling such good habits among each other other and saving many lives over the years. I dread the thought, if i got stuck with a "different" kind of non gear wearing riding bunch when i started riding in this country.

I can almost bet none if guys must have seen a motorcycle being loaded like this. I will wait for you to see the video itself

One pet project video i had for a while. for this i been changing stuff around and transforming the bike from my usual sport touring to a sporty one Just a small trailer of upcoming video i am trying to put together. Always made videos about sport touring side, just wanted to do something different. Sort of an advertisement video. This is just a trailer, full video hopefully soon. thank you dean, i ended up running around like headless chicken once i missed the exit , just took which ever road i cam across that looked like heading south and east ward, and most of the roads got on were blocked for road work etc. Next time i am gonna be more organized.

Since Dan posted the 2014 one the least I could do is atleast make the 2013 one public. I uploaded it back in December I think, never went public with it since I thought people won't like the experiment with classical music. my last long ass haul murdercity to SEO and back i used Go Cruise, cheap among them at under 20$ and very effective http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/go-cruise-throttle-control/ i used to use crampbuster but was difficult to use in a sense that ur right hand always have to work and cannot rest actually. With this you can rest up while left hand on handle, also no hand if you feel like it And it will slow down over a while but u get enough rest.

i keep watching the last minute again and again, i wish to make a whole video like that hahahaha epic minute
