  1. its okay josh, i prefer no one commits that way if something unexpected happens i can bail too, or go different route. So if any one out and around riding already wants to meet can meet at millersburg. Dont plan this as a ride
  2. as of now i plan to reach millersburg between 11 and 11:30. As of now no one else from D joining me,
  3. Since i beeen riding with you i get a feeling your more likely into long distance fun riding than short burst sporting, thus i recommend VFR and this one is a very good deal. http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/2994-2007-vfr-abs/ 2007 VFR800 ABS with 14,000 miles. Bike has a ton of aftermarket goodies, including the following: DMr front and rear suspension (I also have Race Tech Gold Valves & shims for the front & rear spring) Staintune Exhaust (and OEM) 8 spoke rear wheel Sargent Seat MC Cruise Control - real cruise, not a throttle lock! Mounted Zumo 550 GPS Escort 8500X radar detector Acumen gear indicator Autocom Super Pro AVi kit HotGrips Ergo-2 heated Grips PIAA horn Givi Micro-2 (26L) top case OEM hard cases DID X-Ring chain Factory Pro EVO-H91 shift kit MRA Vario touring screen MRA Vario adjustable footpegs (OEM as well) Rear wheel hugger (not mounted) Complete maintenance records. that extras itself can fetch you over 4K if sold separately. beautiful red and ABS also, if that guy weighs around your weight its perfect as the suspension is also done.
  4. hopefully i can make it too, and hopefully ride the route as well
  5. Thats awesome, very kind of you to invite me. I might take you up on that one of these days when i am too dead beat to do these mega miles and also i have to become less socially awkward hahah i hope to run away to some twisty area next year. One of these days i am planning to come down to south west ohio, kentucky region for a trip. and i hope you are around and free to show me the good stuff. Never been to that part of the state yet.
  6. congo Josh, u are persistent and good "buyer" i give you that. Next time i am going to buy used bike i am taking you with me. Thats a good deal
  7. After my last one day trip from murder city to ohio i was thinking i will never again do this madness, and as my mind was made up for sure.....and... i am planning to do the epic crazy one day ride again. Nothing set in stone yet, this is just a feeler to see if any of you guys be around that day. I am planning to ask if any michigan riders will join me (unlikely because they have sane heads) First : Just to make it easier for them i am planning to start late from Detroit around 6:30-7 AM kick start unlike an early 5 start. This means i will be able to make it to millersburg only by 11 to 11:30 at best. Second: The loop will be simple and small like 100 - 150 mile and not planning to go all the way to marietta like last time. Route based on if any one joins me from the big D. Would like to take them down 83 and 78 to show them roads, if not might ride around coschocton, will just see, anyways will be on fun roads. Third: ride to be wrapped up by 3: 00-4 :00 pm around coshocton and i will start to head back to reach home before sunset. More details i will post around thursday if its finalized, just keep this post in the back of the mind and if you got time do come out and say hi and ride around with the knuckle head from knuckle city. One more help, this is the route i am planning to take down, if any of you know one of these roads are under construction please let me know. ( littlecarbbigsmiles..where are you ) Last time i wasted so much time by getting re routed around. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.607916,-83.2139716/41.4026116,-83.5230723/40.8867403,-82.4295471/40.5447799,-81.9170825/@41.5988995,-83.1409808,8z/data=!4m36!4m35!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d-83.6162176!2d41.3887387!3s0x883c0af48800647b:0xf612dfee874d196c!1m10!3m4!1m2!1d-82.7787934!2d40.9601532!3s0x883984338552df5b:0x9ea5353adb0d84bd!3m4!1m2!1d-82.5719745!2d40.9524376!3s0x88398ca50b7da9cb:0xd05331a012609382!1m15!3m4!1m2!1d-82.29803!2d40.6531334!3s0x8839de82e2512d71:0x14e1e9c5659abbe!3m4!1m2!1d-82.1556987!2d40.5273962!3s0x88377ccc7bb7ad75:0x64c98fecda401923!3m4!1m2!1d-81.9860847!2d40.4815983!3s0x883771a88394bb05:0x59876a43d0a3c9b6!1m0!3e0
  8. i regret not getting the opportunity to ride with you dan, one of these day when i treck down we should meet up. But as of now my plans for ohio one day trip is to restrict to coshocton, the marietta one was too brutal.
  9. dayum jack flash, i forwarded you an excellent deal on VFR and you have not seen it till now. Your always in here except when it really matters
  10. Hahahaha some time soon, as if now any free time goes for riding
  11. The first rule about VFR is u never sell a VFR Dont wait, go ahead and buy. Good build, perfect fit, even mechanically challenged guy like me could put it on fairly easy. I had to re adjust the cans with a tilt rather than perfect vertical oval to accommodate the luggage rack. If you go for the straight model i think its bit smaller and wont cause any issue. My only purpose was good sound for the video, and this serves it quite well. Performance i dont know, sure is 2-3 times lighter than stock Oh yea, all the cuts are from fairly relaxed riding, it will quite be a riot to hear close to red line i guess
  12. Ty I went with delkevic, fairly cheap, good finish and decent product. All I wanted was the sound for tje video and no performance enhancement
  13. all paved roads back and forth i hope?
  14. Just short cut from the ride. First official good group ride in michigan, WEst michigan has few roads, nothing comparable to SEO. But i will take any thing t this stage. For the first time after three years i have after market exhaust on the vfr and i can hear v4 symphony, No more music to cover it up so many people complained i use "shitty" music to cover the beautiful sound. That was because the bike was so silent all i got was wind noise. until now. ... Cant wait to come to ohio roads with this to let it open up fully and record it.
  15. Thx for the input guys, As of now i am got rid of the ocd, at least until next year. Just recently spend so much money to upgrade the suspension, put a exhaust etc etc I think i will stick with my vfr for now.
  16. awesome, some day for sure. May be next year Tonik shud plan the palooza to alaska . Plz not in june any other month
  17. I had a hero body with Honda engine bike, those thing last forever. Those bikes are handed down to the next generation and still keep running despite being a daily commuter in crappiest roads ever. So hero won't be a bad chassis
  18. Man, you guys just added fuel to fire even getting pm that I should get the busa lol MaxMan if I had the green of a doc I would be posting pics of the 2014 model busa here instead of the question haha but alas been studying for last 15 yes over two continents Mello, always vfr will be my first love but busa is so voluptuous :-) Zx 14 has concours, hayabusa is hayabusa and nothing else, that's the difference I guess
  19. i guess there is no logical explanation in buying a haybusa other than buying a hayabusa itself i hope the fever passes soon. In the mean time if i come across an un modified black gen 1 i might succumb to temptation. VFR1200 is one of the best bikes to be made by honda, even the red paint job is so perfect. If i dodnt already have the 800 i would have went for the 1200, it feels so much lighter and narrower than the 800 because of its design and it has nearly 60% more power
  20. Daaaang none of you guys are helping much Hahahahaha Josh I really Thought u were joking about the muscles, I will be paradox to the usual crowd then
