You gonna talk shit in the stands or get in the ring?

Ok ok... Let's measure dicks. Post an app that benchmarks both iPhone and android and let's bench race. I'll put my1 yr old note 3 up against any currently pocketable iphone. Post the app, I'll benchmark it and post the screenshot.

From what I understand it will be an i4 with quicker acceleration than the zx14. Guessing a liter - plus displacement forced induction....probably turbo charged 1200. -
Sometimes I wish they would concentrate less on shoving the new shit into market and more on making the current shit work. Every iPod I've ever owned has bricked multiple times. Every android phone I've owned starts to freeze or lag or do stupid shit eventually...but I've never lost data. My note 3 was the hottest shit out there a year ago when I got it. It still is an amazing device with more ram and higher clock speed than the last pc I built, but like all smart phones it has its issues. I used to think it was just htc because I went through 3 evolutions of the evo before deciding the brand was trash. I'm not married to android, if something better comes along I'll happily switch. I've used people's iPhone before and didn't like it. I have fat fingers. While my fiance may appreciate them it makes things dificult. Smaller screen = smaller keyboard = slower more deliberate typing or massive typos....for me a huge burrito phone with a 4.7 inch display makes sense.

Love you too tim....and its ALL homo.

Thanks for demonstrating my point about fanboys. I don't wear a watch...haven't since I started carrying a cell phone....because it becomes redundant equipment. Same reason I don't want a smart watch. It's a gimmick....a fad....a money grab...they'll surf this wave until it breaks upon the rocks of consumer intelligence....Once purchasers realize that the novelty wears off after a few weeks and it's just another thing to charge over night, they will move on to pushing the next money grab....maybe the eye wear tech will have caught up with the price point by then....or maybe they will figure out a way to wifi your shoes so you can get an alert on your watch if you step in dog shit and then the Google glass can snap a pic and post it to instagram.....

Wearable devices are ghey. If you're willing to pay several hundred dollars to avoid the arduous task of retrieving your phone from your pocket then you deserve to look like a wanna be dick tracey. Remember when bluetooth headsets first came out? That became the surefire way to know if someone was a douchebag; if they were walking around with one on their ear like the borg.

Doesn't the ipad cost hundreds more than a 10" Samsung tablet? I haven't used a pc since I got a good smartphone. I torrent eveeything; movies, tv shows, music, porn... Look at the price difference for the 8 gig vs 16 gig iphone. Then go to ebay and buy a 128 gig card for like $35

Shop vac and duct tape..... -
There are a few very valid reasons I would never buy an apple product: Astronomical price difference Small screens and shitty cameras on iPhone Constrictive and closed operating system Can't torrent No expandable memory Pretentiousness of fanboys.

Just putting it out there because I ride one and it's awesome. bandit 1200s. Stock has 100 hp, 67 lbs torque. A pipe and $20 gets you 115/72. A few more mods and some gsxr1100 or gsxf1100 cams gets you 135/85. Plenty o wind protection. Comfy as fuck Suspension upgrade is easy: stock busa/rf900 shock bolts in. Progressive springs and a brace lock in the front end. My b12 was fast stock; unbelievable torque from 3k on up. After the mods I've done it's just irresponsible.... I take freeway Cloverleaf interchanges at 70+ mph no problem. I can put in a 250-300 mile day without needing to see a chiropractor and I've destroyed some supersport bikes both light to light and on the freeway. Just a suggestion.....

Got my elm327 today and tinkered a bit with the torque lite app...I love the HUD mode...turn the brightness all the way up and toss your phone on the dash...cool idea. What features does the pro version have over the free one?

Needs a big wing on the back and a 5600000 watt stereo. And chrome strips EVERYWHERE. Lbts glws.

Had 2 beers with Nick (kat1100) while replacing the bumper cover on my nissan then 1 with dinner....probably have another beer before bed. It's for my health...

I enjoy a few drinks as a nightcap regularly through the week. I find I get to sleep faster and sleep much better with a few beers or a moscow mule under my belt and I keep it limited so there's no hangover the next day.... and then Saturday night me and the Mrs get ripped out of our gourds most weeks. I'm gonna live forever.

I was talking crank horsepower. My last 3 bikes have been liter plus, mostly because I love the low end grunt of a big bore bike and don't want to spend my commutes shifting to keep the motor just below boil...but my last 600 had maybe 90 hp and it was still more power than I could actually use. I was really just poking fun at you for the comment that a little 600 isn't powerful enough when it will do triple digits in 2nd gear. fz1, sprint, sv1000, vfr, z1000, bandit 1200 or 1250, cb1000r, all these bikes make awesome power in the midrange and handle well enough that most people can't out - ride them. You should ride a vfr before you knock the performance, they do pretty good, and that vtec sound makes my junk twitch every time I hear it. There are a lot of people on here with a lot of different bikes, I'm sure you could ride a few. You're more than welcome to come give my bandit 1200 a spin but it's anything but stock and won't be a true representative of the breed.
-
Lol @ '600 doesn't have enough power'.... 120 horsepower on a 400 lb bike isn't enough?
-
What kind of work does your current bike need? Your prospective list is all very good bikes, what kind of riding do you do? Have you considered an fz6, or fz09? Vfr is also a great bike, as well as bandit1250...If you're looking for long ride comfort I'd look more towards a sport touring type bike as opposed to a race replica.

Pauls a good mechanic, but you're best off dropping your shit off. If you ha get around while he works you will be subjected to his quasi - intellectual hobnobbery regarding self defense, politics, the police and whatever other subject that crosses the barren moonscape of his 'mind'.

I'm holding out for a boosted rotary. 60% of the time they work every time. -
Never had any use for her. I'm taking a shit as I tap this. It's more interesting to me than she is.
