Hey might as well. I'd check the valve seating while you're in there. Put plugs in the head, flip over and fill combustion chambers with mineral spirits. Let sit for a day and see if any leaks out. If it does, valves need lapped. Cheap easy job.

Quick search puts you at around $200 for parts. You may be able to find a better deal on a crank if you look harder. Pistons and rods are $60/full set. Happy hunting.

Or good used. Check eBay. They didn't make too many changes to those motors over the years so I'm sure parts are available, and its a very popular bike so they shouldn't be too expensive.
