  1. Ok, the last thread was muddied all up so I thought I'd start a new one for those interested. Ok, found this hotel: http://hiltongardeninn3.hilton.com/en/index.html That is at the end of a dead end road half a mile from this bar and grill http://www.graytonroadtavern.com/ This is where my small group will be partying and sleeping. Good location and decent pricing. I'm not going to bother reserving a block of rooms or tables at the restaurant because it seems the turnout will be kinda small. If anyone is going to the show you can pm me for my number if you want to meet up there. I don't know how long we'll be at the show or what time we will be getting to the bar. I hope to see ya'll there.
  2. Goodbye fat tax refund I use to make home improvements every year.
  3. I've got a pair of redwings waterproof thinsulate steel toe high boots. Absolutely love them for everything from hunting to working when the shop is really cold in the winter to shoveling the drive. Not cheap but will last forever.
  4. What a load of shit. This guy needs to mind his own business.
  5. Don't forget a live rattlesnake in case you get lucky and need a condom there chuck Norris.
  6. I have a pair of sliders 4.0 Kevlar jeans, they have Velcro pockets for ce armor in the knees. I've crashed them once but it was into a ditch so can't speak for protection but they held up fine in the gravel and dirt. I wore them all last season and they aren't falling apart. If you get some order a size down, they are cut very big. You can get some serious swamp ass on hot days and if you free-ball like I do the Kevlar (which has a soft fabric over it) can start to chap your ass a bit on long rides, I just wear some boxer-briefs under if I'm going to be riding for more than a few hours.
  7. I have an m-forgery I built with LRB lower, with Yankee hill free-float tube. (drilled and tapped, fully customizable rails wise) Wilson combat barrel, dpms upper, moe grip and stock, ASAP sling mount, magpul single-double sling, eotech 512, MI buis and neato skull mag release button and custom trigger job (5 buttery, no-creep pounds) that I would have asked $2200 for 2 months ago. Now I'm thinking $3500...after the awb is passed maybe 6k? Think ill just hold onto it....I do love my "Evelyn"
  8. Cyanocryolate (superglue) was developed by the govt for military applications. It was only later that someone discovered it was kick ass for building models.
  9. But gas block removes the ever-lethal bayonet lug, and we all know bayonet is the last line of defense before throwing elbows.
  10. MI flip ups front and rear with a rail gas block up front. Love em but the rear is not adjustable for elevation. With some practice at a good outdoor range you can eyeball the Kentucky hold-over pretty good. Sights are nice, machined from solid aluminum with ball detents. Once flipped up they lock in pretty positively. I'm happy with them.
  11. I've used styptic pencils before, looks like a stick of chalk, you moisten with water and apply to wound. Helps clot and won't leave granules behind. I've never used it on any serious deep cuts or large scrapes tho...and it stings like a bitch.
  12. Btw, tranny fluid (not that kind of tranny Paul) is 7.5 wt and about 1/4 the price of fork oil. To my knowledge it has no adverse effect on seals etc.
  13. Yeah, $11 is a lot of money. I'll take the reins and start an official party thread in the next few days, want to get ahold of the bar I have picked out and see what their prices are like
  14. I fill my forks with spaghetti and extra virgin olive oil and pretend its a Ducati.
  15. Start writing your senators and congressmen. Make it clear that they will be voted out if this shit happens.
  16. There are some really nice cabins and lodges in Berlin, good Amish food and the worlds largest cuckoo clock!
  17. Post some pics of that cb750 cafe bike man.

  18. Bed bugs usually hang out along the seams of your mattress. Could also be eczema or contact dermatitis. Does anything relieve it? Cortizone etc...
