I think you and I had the oldest bikes there. I had the black and purple 97 ZX6-R that was next to yours. Glad to see you decided to put your on the Dyno. I probably should have done mine but I don't know what I'd do with the info. How many miles on your bike?

Right on. I used to live on the east side but I'm from Newark so I know a bunch of good loop rides in the area. Nothing too crazy and everyone rides at their own pace. What time do you guys want to meet?

If you guys are riding 270 then I'll probably stick around here. If you guys want to ride towards Newark there are plenty of nice curvy hilly roads. Lots of fun and nice scenery. I can put together a route that begins and ends in Columbus.....Alum creek and grovport rd.

Looking to ride Sunday. Probably head South towards Perry/ Hocking or ride Newark/ Coshocton. If anybody wants to hit some roads post up. We can meet in Newsrk or if guys are coming from Columbus we can meet at Buckeye Lake off of 70 like noonish.

I was at the dyno day today and saw the kiosk. Didn't realize he was a motorcycle mechanic.....thought they were more for riding gear and replaced tires also. Hehehe....I spoke to him a few times. I'll use the card they handed me and give him a call. Thanks

A few of us OR guys were out riding twisties and some in-bred hillbillies in a full size jacked up pick up raced us up a long hill and tried to prevent us from passing. He failed but why make the pass any less safe than it already is. What do these morons not understand about power to weight ratio? Why do they take offense to being passed like it's a race? I say fuck 'em. Glad you're ok NinjaDoc. Good reason to have your CCW.

I'm looking to have some routine (but not beginner) maintenance completed on my bike. I would start with a valve adjustment and go from there. I can do things like change the plugs and I rebuilt the clutch but once you get into the engine I'm worthless. Anybody know of a good and fair mechanic in the Columbus or Newark area? I have a 97 ZX6-R

Well guys.....Dyno day was great. Looking like we'll be getting back around 3:30. Probably try to meet at KFC at 5:30 and ride some this evening in Coshocton/Nerk area. Anybody wants to join post up and we'll see you at KFC at 5:30.

Actually....just saw you're leaving at 10:30 so I'll get there a little before. If anyone wants to ride with us in the afternoon I'll post an update in this thread once we come up with a time and tentative route.

Harb, depending on how much riding I get in tomorrow (and whether or not the ol' ball n chain will give me two days) I may be down to ride Sunday. That's weird. It says basically a storm for an hour at 1pm and then back to sunny. I'd say it's a bug. I'm rooting for a day like today but a little cooler.

I was thinking Saturday. Don't think I need to dyno my bike....so I figured I'd ride. Depends on if anyone else wants to ride instead of going to the dyno day. After looking through a few weather websites I feel pretty confident it's not going to rain.

I know everyone at work was looking outside longing to be on two wheels instead of dealing with that temperamental customer or slaving away with power tools. Looks like its gonna be dry this evening...and it's definitely warm. If anyone wants to ride this evening post up and we'll put something together. Thinking meet anywhere from 4pm to 5:30pm depending on when everyone's available or gets off work. So post up and we'll get it organized.

Yeah....sorry it didn't work out guys. I checked the thread late last night and nothing was set. Had to help a friend with his cabin in the sticks this morning and didn't make it back til like 2. Hope everyone got out and rode. I went out for a few hours and it was perfect weather. Looks like there should be a few good days this week. Maybe we can set something up for one day after work this week. If anyone wants to ride like tues, weds, or thurs post a thread and we'll ride in the afternoon/evening once everyone gets off work.

Well it's looking like it might clear up this afternoon. It sure has been raining all morning though. I'll keep an eye on the weather and if anybody wants to ride maybe we can put something together. Roads will probably still be wet no matter what…

Thought I'd post up and see if anyone wanted to put a few miles in. Thinking probably meet at 1pm as the forecast calls for morning showers but 67 degrees and partly cloudy in the afternoon. Doesn't look like there's another ride worthy day at least through the weekend. We can decide the route when we figure out who is going. Columbus guys can meet in Buckeye lake and then ride to Nerk and pick those guys up. Post up and we'll put together some more solid plans.
