  1. Great ride today. Super roads. Good company. Thanks guys. Oh yea. I think the new Nivin 2 wheeler should be broken in. Break in pace should have done it.
  2. You have no idea what I have been going thru with my extended son. Poor guy has not slept in days. Even went with him to Pittsburg to look at a bike. Trying to teach him to be patient. A deal will come along. As it did. I must say he got a smoking deal on that bike and it is a 2015. Not a leftover. Cool beans Bubby. I think your gonna keep this one around for awhile.
  3. http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/ Go here and play around. Then go try on your findings if they are available someplace.
  4. http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/honda/honda_cb750f%2081.htm https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CB750 They are also heavy enough to move a telephone service truck sideways when you broadside one as they back into your direction of travel. I know. I did it.
  5. There are a shit ton of bikes on c/list. Hybrid or mountain bike. I would not go with a skinny tire road bike to start. You can always upgrade if the bug bites you. You will have less invested in better quality used than new big box china crap. Toss some of what you find up here and guys that have some knowledge I'm sure will give you good advice. I miss riding but my arthritis won't let me put the miles in. Aluminum wheels, stainless spokes and name brand components are a few things to look for. No need to go all Greg LeMond starting out. A Chevelle with a 250 six and one with a 454 are basically the same car. It's the engine that makes the difference. As Pauly found out it can be addicting as hell and a life changer. It was for me back in the day.
  6. A Honda shop should be able to do the job if you have the code. They don't cut them they punch them out. Just had a couple spares made at the local Honda shop. Call around.
  7. My vote has to go to my Homie Nivin. Text, talk and plan a Virginia ride. He doesn't sleep the night before. 20 min into the ride we stop for some sunrise photos and he can barely stay awake.Decided it was best for him to return home. Wise decision. We will get that one in someday Boss.
  8. I have had a Cub Cadet with both a plow and a blower. Bought the blower because with the plow It was a PITA to clean out the end of the drive after the state plowed it shut(2 lanes of a 4 lane). Plus I would run out of room to put the snow. With a blower you have no piles and never run out of a place to put the snow. One drawback is that if you have a concrete drive the chains will bark it up a bit. Had that setup from 1975 to 2003. It was a 1968 tractor that I bought for 300 bucks.Bought a zero turn when I moved and a stand alone snowblower. That gets my vote. faster cut, better cut and it makes my leaves disappear in the fall.I like the walk behind blower for the exercise. Trees or not a zero turn is faster.
  9. I finished off the day with Pa,WV and Maryland. I have pics but I think the picture posting thingy may be broke. Again.
  10. http://www.archiesbbq.com/ Yummy. Been a good ride so far.
  11. Hope the rest of your little trip goes better than lunch. What a bummer. Pretty cool idea for a thread title. I shall see what's for lunch on Saturdays ride and post it up. Win big guys.
  12. All this carnage and only 3 bike pics and some chick with a fat butt. Come on Ladies. Your slackin. Post em up. Casper fixed it didn't he?
  13. Cool beans. I am no expert by any means but this advice comes from personal episodes. Watch your bars twitch when you throttle and shift. If the front happens to lift and come down when the bars are slightly turned it could possibly induce head shake. I have had it happen and it happens right now. Smooth that out a little and have ball.
  14. Pa. Roads. Fresh pavement and then they have to tar and chip it. Asshats. Ohio roads. New pavement on 164. The guy that painted the double yellow missed the center. One lane is proly over a foot wider than the other. Asshats. WV. Roads. Will you please pave 250 already. Coming out of Hundred you damn near need a dirt bike. Asshats.
  15. Man I absolutely hate to hear of crashes. So so glad you are ok. You were with some class act top shelf guys. Crap!!
  16. Hey Rick. Do a search on Cycle Trader. State 8 has three 2014 leftovers listed at 13,500 and All Season a 2015 for 14,999. Some at call and request price. Good time to dicker with dealers.
  17. ^^^^ This or a slathering of red loctite.
