  1. Correct you are Dac. If fact it was this very one. But size was a determining factor in his latest purchase..........or was it?
  2. Is it possible we have a winner? I often told him red was the fastest color. How else would he really know but to try it out on one of our favorite roads? Don't fret Snot. Your answer is only partially correct and only partially describes the bike.
  3. Holy crap. I hope I don't have all these problems when I get to be an old asshat.
  4. It very well could have been. Or maybe it still is............... Then again is their another clue in the picture????
  5. So we all know how much our Doc liked his VFR. Always boasting its abilities. But most of all he enjoyed riding it. Any chance he could. He rode it well. As we go thru life our priorities change so with the changes in his life he decided to sell his beloved VFR for something smaller and safer. He wanted traction control and abs thinking they would give him an edge safety wise. Yes he really really loved his VFR. Are there hints here or not...........................................................................................................More to come
  6. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YsE-85sWyaE Tim. I scoped out several vids on YouTube and that noise was there. You can even hear it on DD's vid. As far as that plug goes it looks like I cooked once and a temporary permanent repair was made. Best bet may to eliminate that crap and hard wire it.
  7. In all fairness Pauly is looking good. Those pedals will do amazing things for your bod if you commit yourself. I was hooked for a few years and wish I had never stopped. I must say his butt is a lot cuter when working that tire machine. Props to ya Bubbie. Have a good ride this weekend and a better one when you get to the mountains.
  8. Oh Boy. This going to be interesting. He is too far away for me to duc tape him to a pole. I could not control him at all. He's crazy.
  9. Dude I don't have too many of these left in me. Sorry you can't make it. I'll miss you.
  10. I just lean mine up against the wall on its side wheels toward the wall. Can always park one of your bikes on it as well.
  11. So folks if you have not given your dryer venting system a good cleaning now would be a good time. Spent all night at Daughters house because of a dryer fire. Lint is flammable as heck. Another thought is to trash that plastic vent hose. Dryer heat won't melt it but fire will. Once it burns thru you basically have a blast furnace. The fire house was about a mile away and she heard the sirens before she even hung up the phone. Floor joists were on fire and flames were heading up the stairs. Country living with a 15+ minute respond time and house would have been toast. Not preaching. Just some thing to think about.
  12. Welcome. Thank you for your service. Was Navy myself.
  13. Speed safely Jeff. Have a good season.
  14. I have no personal experience with one to answer your question directly. I don't know how much research you have done but it is not a true trike kit. After it is installed you have 4 wheels on the ground. I have heard that riding on uneven pavement can be rather interesting. Cheaper alternative than a true trike kit and it can be removed easily. http://www.hdforums.com/forum/hacked-conversions-and-trailering/358438-voyager-trike-kit-experience.html
  15. Did 16 from st Mary's all the way down 2 years ago with Doc and Jester on our Gap trip. I personally would not do it alone. It is very rural in places. It was a fun road.
  16. Primarily a Pirate Fest.
  17. http://world.honda.com/motorcycle-technology/brake/p5.html Doc's VFR does not have ABS.
  18. DucRx. Good dude. You won't regret going to him. Isaac'sPapa on here.
