I've been looking for one in my budget but I don't want the 2nd gen body style ('94-'01) and they bring top dollar....as they should.

Carwhore crossed my mind but I don't think they'll have anything in my budget. As for making the 6.0 bulletproof, hell yeah, that is a must if I get one. I'm probably going to have to go back home to NC to find a clean one, though....everything up here is a modified rust bucket with no service records or receipts.

I'm starting to lean towards buying a used 6.0 power stroke and I'm a total newb with respect to diesels, in general, much less the Fords. From what I've gathered, a bone stock is preferable vs. anything modified. Anything to look out for on bone stock 6.0's? I'm okay with 200k + miles but between the egr, head bolts, oil cooler, FICM, and other known issues, what should I look for?

My '12 F-150 4x4 indicates 15.8 mpg and has for over 68k miles. My '09 2500 Ram 4x4 which was sold last week averaged about 12 mpg with the Hemi.

I'm in a similar situation but have decided to look at Wranglers even though they're not practical and can't tow worth a shit. I'm also looking to buy an older RV which is why I want a Wrangler for a toad. My other idea is to finally a house but that means I'm gonna have to settle down and my nomadic genes don't like that idea.

I'm probably going to hold firm at $8k with the CCW's included but I haven't settled on a value for it.

I'm putting her under the knife and having a hi-po clutch (Spec 2) along with an billet steel flywheel installed. While there, a turbo back B&B 2.5" SS exhaust will also be installed. The timing belt/rollers/water pump/power steering pump/hoses/accessory belts will also be replaced at another shop in Twinsburg afterwards. The only other thing it'll need are the Bilstein Sport shocks installed. The value of the car will go up but I probably won't sell her until I've flogged the shit out of her at Mid-Ohio.

ISIS has had success because the Iraqi's can't fight worth a shit even with our equipment, weapons, and training. The Kurd's, on the other hand, can defend themselves effectively. At the very least we need to help the Kurd's push them back and also assist the Christians and Yazidis as much as possible with aid. Outside of that, we need to stay the fuck out of Iraq.
