  1. check out this website. click on the options link and you can have the rider put their feet on the ground. I don't know how complete the bike list is but I'm sure it offer hours of entertainment. http://cycle-ergo.com/ Mary
  2. Hi Brian, Thanks for the offer but $500 is my bottom price. I'll turn it into a coffee table if I don't sell it. I'm not in a hurry to sell it really and it will probably go in the spring/early summer when people start riding again. Taking the tire off is a hassle for me. I'd have to pay $25 to get it removed and the shop isn't the most convenient for me so I'm going to try and sell it as a package if I can. Shipping is running $45 to $65 in the US. Thanks again though! Mary
  3. Is it Nick Mayer Jr? I used to work there when I was 16 and his father was the biggest A** EVER! Made me cry and I don't cry easy. He made everybody so miserable because he was such a miserable prick himself. I always felt bad for his son having to live with such a jerk. I remember after I quit working there, one of his customer's drove their car throw the showroom because of his attitude. Sorry for the hijack but I really hated that guy! That's an interesting addition to your team. Sounds like it is working out well. Mary
  4. Ha. I bought the tire as a package with some stuff I wanted (ohlins shock and damper). Didn't need the tire so I don't know who did the damage. I'd probably beat them if it were my tire. I always get my tires swapped at Sills in Cleveland. Some really great people there and no rim dings! Mary
  5. Anyway, lowering a bike even a 1/4 inch can sometimes make all the difference in the world in confidence and not effect handling whatsoever. So why not even if it ends up being a placebo effect. Mary
  6. Unless you're currently 5 ft tall, you really can't talk. Mary
  7. If she is an accomplished rider, she'll be comfortable on most bikes. I'm 5 ft 2 and the height thing doesn't bother me anymore. And, as someone mentioned, you can always change out the dogbones to lower it a bit if needed. Some of the older 600s were lower than the newer ones (i.e. Honda 600 f3, Kawasaki 600 "e" i think it was). She might get bored quickly with the 250/300 Ninja's. Good luck. Mary
  8. Yeah, I used to have a YZ80 and my husband had a CR250. Loved the 2-strokes but doesn't really fit into the space and riding we will be doing. My parents have 27 acres with some trees and a clear area. We are going to rent a bob cat in the spring and make a small track connected to some trails in the woods that we need to clean up a bit. Boy, their neighbors will be unhappy again. It's been quiet back there since my kids were born. Not anymore. Mary
  9. Thanks. That's more than I was looking to spend. Really looking at under $2k bikes and closer to $1500 really. Nice bike though. Good luck with the sale! Mary
  10. Good condition. One ding. $450 Tire is off the rim and being sold separately if interested. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/3772495133.html Rear wheel from a Ducati 1098R Should fit a Ducati 1098, 1098S, 1198, 1198S and possibly the 848 EVO. Forged aluminum. Much lighter than stock. Only blemish is a small set of chips on the lip,of the rim. Can hardly see with the tire mounted. Willing to ship.
  11. Yeah, just bought my 2.5 year old a TTR 50. Getting back in the dirt! Mary
  12. Hello, I've sent you a couple PM's not sure if you are getting them or not. Can you just send me a phone number so we can talk direct and not via the forum? Thanks. Mary
  13. I really like Griot's products and they have some really nifty tools. Insanely jealous of their shop space too. sooooo clean! http://www.griotsgarage.com/
  14. Just want to make sure I have this straight. You have wheel/tires - just not on the bike right now? Needs chain and sprockets and front brake line? Did you race this? Any other mechanical or cosmetic issues? Do you have any more pictures? I'll PM you my email address. Thanks. Mary
  15. North Ridgeville. Westside of Cleveland. Unfortunately 2 hours north of Columbus. Shoot me over your email and I'll send you pics I have. Mary
  16. I have a TTR 225 that I will be selling. Electric start. Runs well. Missing some plastic so cosmetics are a bit off but like I said runs well. Good trail bike or beginner dirt bike. $850 OBO. I'll look for some pics if interested. Mary
  17. 250 probably or a cheap standard, see how she likes that and go from there. Mary
  18. You will get more money in the spring for sure but you have some pros and cons. The bike is a niche market bike so fewer interested parties. However, there are also fewer bikes like yours available. If you are not in a hurry, I'd wait it out. Mary
