  1. The cops a dumbass, use your foot as a wheel chock and expect it to get run over. Someone needed to verify they had authority and went about it in an aggressive manner. Sure, most people are not that ignorant to "run over" someone elses foot, but you can't make that assumption.

Get his license number, tell him to stop, if he doesn't call it in and get someone to pull him over.

  2. sorry tiger, ended up staying up way too late last night and didnt get out of bed till after 10.

It takes a looong time to get over going down. I still have trouble on blind ascending right hand turns and my accident was about 5 or 6 years ago if not longer.

Glad your ride was uneventful. Post up next time you are heading out and I'll tag along.

  3. ahhh too late at this point

I'd have to prep the bike, throw it on the trailer, pick up gas, be there by 7:30....meaning leave here by 6.

If I knew you were going yesterday I would have been ready. You going sunday too or just tomorrow?

  4. WHY??? I have a brand new pair of these sitting right beside me now. If I wasn't trying to move at the moment, I'd snag them up just to have more motorcycle stuff in my apartment.

    Great deal!

  5. Looking for an 01-03 GSXR 600 to throw on the track.

Already tracked out or a little beat....no problem.

Toasted motor? Willing to work out a deal? Even better.

Got something a little cracked up?(but with a straight frame) I dont mind putting in a little work to get it on the track. I'll be getting a new place sometime this month, need to find a project to work on after.

  6. Metal printing has been around for almost as long as plastic printing, currently you have to add a sintering process to the steps. I would imagine that having a furnace in space isn't practical at this time so the process will need to change. The weight sent to space would be the same it's the volume that offers the benefit.

if the process is reversible and the broken down materials can be reused, you save on mass. Single purpose items could be made when required, broken down, and the materials used to make the next requirement.

  7. hmmmm

guess you guys have a point...the cop would have to be oddly interested to even check for a vin, and I could remove the plate or switch it with my 01, which I still have a title for.

edit: didnt see the last post. I planned on running the vin, and if they didnt want that I wouldnt buy it. If the title was still held by a bank or something via a loan, that would come up on the search too, right?

  8. I was thinking about picking up a bike that doesnt have a title.

They claim its not stolen....but without a title who knows.

It wouldn't ever go anywhere but on the track.

A friend brought up a good point, if I got pulled over on the way to the track and the cop decided to run the bike's VIN, I'd be screwed out of the bike, correct?

I'm guessing a bill of sale would be needed, but I doubt that will mean squat if they defaulted on a loan?

  9. damn, sorry to hear about the rough ride today. Hope everyone came out OK and there was no major damage, but the totaled ZX10 seems to hint in the opposite direction.

Flat front or rear? patch plugs(look like mushrooms) are the shit. The tire has to be pulled to install, but IMO there is no other option when it comes to repairing a bike tire.
