  1. He already sings like he's been castrated so what's the difference Although, I have to give him props for banging that Gomez girl...
  2. Then there's the drugs you take (or took) that aren't prescribed. No, not pot or alcohol...the drugs that are given to the livestock that you later consume. There was a time (not sure if true anymore) that anti-depressants and other meds were given to cattle and other livestock to keep them calm and compliant and reduce the risk of injury to the workers who handle them. They still do feed them antibiotics and hormones (varies from sources) and some people are very senstive to these and it causes all kinds of problems from acne, to ADD to GI problems.

I don't disagree in theory but if you have a laser sight, you should be disciplined enough to learn how to use both competently. I think the laser could be beneficial in certain circumstances.
  4. Well, you need an hour of ALWAYS point the gun in a safe direction yada yada stuff . you know, most of that stuff that anyone with common sense already knows. Although as we know, most people seem to lack common sense these days. The legal aspect was interesting and at times, eye-opening. You definitely need to know the situation before even making it known you have a concealed weapon.
  5. Mental health issues need to be better addressed and how about some parenting classes for God's sake.
  6. That can be arranged. I'm all for snow so I can get some use out of the $1200 plow set up I bought for my ATV that I've barely had the opportunity to use. Ya'll can thank me for the lack of snow.
  7. There will be no gun control laws. They will just make it cost prohibitive to buy/own/license/shoot so the average Joe can't afford it. You heard it here first.
  8. Thanks, I'll check it out. I think they offer advanced classes through the new shop that will be less than a mile from my new house (once I build it).
  9. Same thing happened with my wife. For me I can see the movement and relax to the point where it's minimized and then time the movement so I fire at the right moment. Almost like a video game which is probably why I was good at it
  10. They were hers...they keep saying she was a "gun enthusiast" and they belonged to her
  11. I agree...my wife and I want to take more advanced training. I wouldn't mind becoming an instructor one day just for fun.
  12. Ohio law dictates that there must be 12 hours of training.
  13. Compared to TW, it's the gun club from Beverly Hills cop (where the Bridgette Nielsen character worked)
  14. When I bought the laser for my sig, it was way off and I manually adjusted it as speedytriple suggests above. I used it this weekend and wow, my groupings are MUCH tighter with the laser than without. I need to work so my iron sight accuracy approaches the same level.
  15. The house we are building will only be about a 1/2 mile away which is awesome. We are thinking of joining as well. On a side note, while we were there, there was a channel 9 van outside looking like they were readying to film something. No doubt, in reference to the recent shooting in CT. I hope the story wasn't leaning towards gun bans.
  16. Wasn't too bad, they had several people helping, more on the range. If I had a choice, I would have gone with a smaller class but I had no idea how many people would be in there. It sounded like they overbooked a bit because ppl can schedule and pay the day of class and typically they get a lot of no shows. I guess because of the shooting last week, it gave ppl more incentive to show up.
  17. 70+ people but there were a few >70 old in there along with some urban 'utes and everything in between.
  18. Went to an Armed2Defend all day class in Cbus yesterday and finally got this done after talking about doing it for a few years. There was an interesting mix of people in there (there were 70+) and some of the questions asked (seemed like over and over) by a few people reminded me of this scene from Armed and Dangerous... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yKKhbNnoJQ
  19. In Blue Ash...very nice! My wife and I stopped by there today and what a refreshing change from Target World! http://shootpointblank.com/ A sales guy said that they are also opening a store on Harrison Ave somewhere in the 7200-7700 block.
  20. A good opportunity for someone to get an extra fridge for their basement or bar area.
  21. QFT...maybe they'll ban cars next time someone mows down a crowd in one and everyone will be forced to ride motorcylces & bikes
  22. I have an iPhone but as a product tester I know one thing people will be concerned about is how it will impact battery life since it runs in the background for extended periods of time. To your question, it's my perception that a lot of people are stuck on the 99 cent price point. Whenever I recommend a pay app to someone and it's >$0.99 they always pull a face like they don't drop $5 a day in soft drinks already - cheap bastards. The best money making business model (which I'm not real fond of) seems to be to offer the app for free or lesser price and add the ability to buy extra functionality that really makes the app worth having like instead of one emergency contact, it can do up to five or something. You get my point though.
  23. Some good ones on here...a lot of squids too http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=nBJds4PYn7Y
  24. Wow, absolutely tragic. It's bad enough when adults are targeted but little kids??? Those that prey on children and animals (I'm not talking hunters here) are the scum of the Earth. It makes me sick yet angry. There are some fucked up people in the world and there's a special place in hell for them (if you believe in that sort of thing).
