  1. So you have an ancient, limited functionality phone because your afraid of it falling off your bike and breaking? (I'm being facetious here). Stick it in your pocket. Problem solved.
  2. Maybe that's why they feel slightly big to me. The white goes nicely with my bike.
  3. I guy I work with is building one of those
  4. I have the perforated ones and the airflow is great and they are very confortable boots...maybe run a little big (about 1/2). Not sure about airflow on the non-perf ones.
  5. The bike was an R1 or R6...didn't geta good look as I was too busy taking the picture
  6. Someone's goin' fishing...
  7. Having never been to WNF before, I was wondering how difficult the trails are? I want to take my wife up to ride, me on the bike an her on the ATV, and she's definitely a novice rider. She's literally only ridden it around a field a few times (4x4 Rancher 420AT). It's several hours away for us so I don't want to get all the way up there and have it not be good for her. Which trail set would be best to start on? The maps are a bit tough to read online but it looks likes each has spots marked "difficult" but that's a very subjective term. If they are truly tough, are there alternate routes to go around? Thanks!
  8. I picked up some Cortech Latigo Air RR boots for about $130 with my 10% off coupon at MC USA.
  9. Good God...THAT IS AWESOME
  10. Wow...reason 101 to wear a helmet. No helmet and he's probably worm food.
  11. Thanks. I'll be riding on state land some so I definitely will want it titled.
  12. I could be up for it...I'll have my WR ready to go by then.
  13. I feel old now...hitting 40 next month.
  14. A cyclist friend of mine was hit by a truck last year. Punctured his arm, broke his collarbone and some broken ribs. He had a small patch of pretty severe road rash on his shoulder. He said of all the injuries, the road rash is the one that kept him up nights because of the pain and discomfort. That was a bit sobering.
  15. When we were in Switzerland in May, my wife said something about opening a Swiss bank account just to say we had one We didn't
  16. I decided against the CRFx due to all of the issues with the valves. They may have that sorted out with the newer bikes but from what I've read a lot of the older <2008 bikes had issues.
  17. Thanks! Doesn't sound like I'll have any problems. I'll just make sure the title VIN and the VIN on the bike match before anything.
  18. Thank you. I knew about the inspection for street legal vehicles but is the inspection also required for an off-road only vehicle? Would suck to have to haul it over there just for that
  19. Not sure where else to put this. Buying a dirt bike from a guy in Toledo Saturday. He has the title but I guess when he bought it, he never had it put in his name (still has the original owners name on it) basically to avoid the tax. Not sure what the process is for MI titles but he says it doesn't appear that it needs to be notarized to transfer it to me. His mechanic is a notary so we can get it done if need be. I'm guessing the state of OH doesn't car who the previous owner is as long as it's signed and notarized (if needed). Talked to the guy, seems like it's all on the up and up (he brought this up right away). I'm just not sure if I'm going to run into some trouble later trying to title it. We're only talking a few grand here it terms of $. I haven't done a lot of used vehicle buy/sells so I'm not well versed on the process, especially with an out of state title. Any insight anyone can provide?
  20. I was on the fence between the DRZ and a WR250F...found a nice deal on an '05 WR so I'm going with that for now. I'll ride it the rest of the season and if I decide it's not for me the wife might want to keep it or I trade for something else.
  21. K, not going now...instead heading up to Toledo to pick up my new (to me) WR250F dirt bike
