  1. There's a special place in hell for this guy. http://blog.motorcycle.com/2012/08/07/manufacturers/kawasaki/thief-steals-motorcycle-from-crash-victim/
  2. Another...a little more difficult to decipher. Where's flygirl?
  3. Prolly wouldn't make it through approvals but it's available.
  4. I know discover and chase have a similar service...not sure if they charge fees or not. Never cared enough to look into it. Generally, if I'm selling something and accepting paypal payments, I try to price the item with the fees in mind. Also, if you sell something and accept PayPal payment, ship the item through the PayPal process (via USPS, UPS, etc). If you ship it yourself (outside of Paypal) you have little recourse should the buyer claim non-receipt and file a complaint with PayPal to get their money back. Hasn't happened to me but I've seen it happen to people on numerous forums.
  5. FWIW, he didn't mention who and I took a stab at the related thread, maybe in error. If so, I apologize for dragging you in.
  6. Nice hardware and price. If I wasn't completely neglecting my guitar, I'd be all over it. Have to cut down on the expensive hobbies.
  7. I think it's like 2-3% so it can add up on bigger ticket items.
  8. This maybe? http://ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=96136
  9. Not unusual...then the seller doesn't pay the paypal fees.
  10. Sounds awesome but likely I'll miss out. I'll be out of the country the end of Aug and laid up after achilles surgery after Sep 11
  11. I had the opposite happened to me (I was the prospective buyer) as some may remember. Shit happens on both sides of the coin. This is why I hate buying and selling things. Deposits are nice but there's always the chance the buyer gets there and the seller misrepresented something (purposely or otherwise), the buyer chooses to walk and the seller refuses to refund the deposit. Good times.
  12. Bring it to MJ's. Bike will get stolen, you get the insurance money to buy a new, non-broken bike. Problem solved.
  13. I don't disagree...I'm just tired of people blaming the guns and not the nuts behind them. Give them something else to complain about. I don't think there would be a big push to ban swords/knives if someone went on a rampage with one.
  14. I dunno...a skilled swordsman can quickly fuck up a lot of people in an enclosed space (i.e. crowded movie theater) and swords don't jam.
  15. Wonderful...more fuel for the "ban all guns" fire. Why can't these freaks start using knives?
  16. Got the backpack today, that was quick! Overall, I really like it. Quality seems good (seams, zippers, etc) and it fits my 15" MacBook Pro very nicely along with my iPad, pair of shoes, and my workout clothes which is generally what I haul back and forth to work. The helmet face shield holder is nice but I'll rarely if ever use it. Unfortunately, it's not removable. I may end up just cutting it out. The only downside (kinda) for me is that the waist strap is way too short to go around my fat ass. I'm a 42" waist and it's not even close to fitting. However, it's not something I would use anyway (the chest strap is enough for me) and it is removable so it won't be in my way. Thanks!
  17. ^^^ ok I literally laughed out loud at that one.

    TV Repair

I have my Samsung plasma TV in pieces right now because (I believe) the stupid IR receiver board is bad. Menu pops up by itself randomly. Finding parts from a reputable place is tough. The part is en route so we'll see how it works out.
  20. Click the little scales icon on the right to give the user rep Welcome tall Tracy!
