  1. Saw this elsewhere...it's a she and it took place somewhere in Russia.
  2. Wrapping up my BVI trip. Got some decent underwater video with the GoPro and some nice scenery pictures around the area. Sad that I'll be coming home tomorrow. This is a Portuguese Man O' War, which is a jellyfish-like critter that's bad news for anyone who happens to come in contact with the tentacles. I had my camera off during my ascent back to the boat and switched it back on to get a few seconds of video as it passed by. I wasn't about to chase after it...the tentacles are almost invisible in the water and can stretch for 20+ feet on larger ones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBeVfAhAmhU Taken with my iPhone at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. We had to swim ashore to eat lunch at Coco Loco's.
  3. Does manuel do gardening?
  4. When my wife had her accident years ago, she was maybe doign 20mph. Her helmet was deeply gouged from the chin, all the way down one side and the faceshield was ripped off. Had she not been wearing a helmet or only had an open face helmet, she'd be very much disfigured if not worse.
  5. Wow...good to hear it didn't turn out worse. I'll give the old bag credit for being honest but it's a good example of why the elderly should be tested regularly. Lucky, most move away to God's waiting room (aka Florida) before they cause too much trouble here. IMO most people who claim "I never saw them" didn't make the effort to look with proper diligence.
  6. It's no coincidence that the can is phallic shaped. The second ingredient is butt lube :takeit:
  7. According to this, o-rings are composed of an approved substance for WD40 (assuming the poster is correct).
  8. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=345397 /WD40debate For the record, I use a a product made specifically to clean chains (forget the brand). I'm prolly paying more for it than other solutions but I like it, I can afford it, and I don't have to wonder if it's damaging my o-rings, etc.
  9. I cleaned my chain today too since I got caught in the rain Fri morning. ^^This is what I have been using.
  10. There's really no need to justify the amount of suck coming out of Paul Brown Stadium. The Bengals are the epitome of suckage. The day the Brown family relinquishes control is the day I become a Bengals fan.
  11. I was poking fun at your riding skills as a matter of levity in an otherwise heavy thread...should have been pretty obvious, at least to you, since I have never seen you ride to have a clue what your abilities are.
  12. I'm disappointed in you people. I poked fun at exarch and no one noticed the irony of this with me condemning the ridicule of the disabled.
  13. Wow...I'm really hoping the initial comments in this thread aren't indicative of the normal behavior for these guys. There are some things you just don't do - ever. Asking a woman if she's pregnant, getting on the back of exarch's bike, and making fun of/criticizing the disabled are just a few.
  14. I wish this model fit my head shape...it would match my bike perfectly. Plus it's a very visible helmet for safety reasons.
  15. AWESOME! It's amazing how much compassion and love some people show towards animals/pets while others will go out of their way to abuse them. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Very nice. I really need to stop trolling the FS threads before I end up in divorce court.
  17. Ah, no need...happy to help. Done.
  18. An old timer was sitting on the porch of a saloon on a blistering hot day in the desert when a younger man rode in casually on his horse. He was amazed when the man tied the horse to the post, walked to the back of the horse, lifted the tail and kissed the horse right on the asshole. The old man asked "Why in tarnation did you jus' kiss that horse's ass?" "Chapped lips" the man replied. "Kissin' a horse on the ass cures chapped lips?" the old timer asked. "Nope", the man replied "but it keeps me from licking em."
  19. Post it up over at the FZ1OA forum...I can do it for you if you want.
  20. Took me a while (and 4 bikes) to figure this out for myself. There are a few bikes that can do everything, but none that do everything very well. That said, I love my Z1000. It's fun in the twisties and when you get on it, you get that oh shit feeling with the front wheel coming up on its own. Yet, it's great for commuting and moderately long trips. My only gripe is the relatively small fuel capacity. My plan is to pick up a beemer adventure touring bike (maybe a GS1200) next year. I just got back from CO and the wife and I took a drive through Rocky Mountain National Park and I am SO going to ride out there and tour through the mountains on a bike.
  21. Looks fine on mine Sent from my magical iPad
