  1. I'm really looking forward to Saturday. I will likely run 3 classes and wear myself out. It's been a long winter! Bikers should ride up and spectate/help. Always a friendly crowd. Chris
  2. Just under 4100 miles. New exhaust, chain and sprockets the middle of last year. Very fun bike. Great for roads up to 50 mph posted. Anything above that you will be under powered. But bike easily goes 55-60 and 65+ on flat ground with a draft.
  3. Exactly. Can I use it Saturday to kick some ass? I felt fast on it especially since it was my first time riding any motard. Chris
  4. ABS is awesome, but some will still allow you to flip. My 1199 has a front wheel only setting and allows you to flip over if you grab too much. On topic: good luck with the recovery. At least it's on video. Everyone should learn the lesson to having a working side stand switch, even if it is your race bike. Just tie wrap it into the up position when you remove the side stand and then undo when you put it all back together. I've read that she recently changed the brakes, lines, pads, etc. Everyone should go test their brakes and front tires at max braking so it will be easier when an emergency occurs. Chris
  5. Still for sale, but now I'm willing to trade for Supermotard. Prefer CRF250R or similar setup for road racing. I could add a few hundred dollar bills for the right 'tard. Chris
  6. I remember everyone being happy. Maybe we didn't see it? Who wants to fess up?
  7. I hope it is what you say it is. I love boats and the water. However, 90% of the boats I know, that aren't kept at or very close to water, never make it in the water more than once or twice per year, after the first year or two of ownership. Everyone has their own priorities and you can spend your money as you like and take risks with your family, but NO WAY would I take a baby out on a boat on a regular basis. Too many drunk idiots on most lakes and rivers and the threat of drowning is a very real possibility. Lakes always seem crowded in OH and the boat ramp bull shit is a big pain in the ass. If you don't do it perfectly everyone will show you their fangs. Boating is awesome but a lot of money and time are spent not actually boating. Having to haul that thing to the water is a chore. It's like having a track only bike. Lot's of prep work just to get everything together and to a location to ride it.
  8. People seem to love them. I think they are ugly and ZX-14 even worse. Great for 'big' guys.
  9. Unless a total noob, just get the second one. The video is decent too.
  10. Isn't there a huge failure rate for this type of biz? Combined with long hours, small chance of huge success, inspections, licensing, large start up costs and hassle. I can't imagine this being a good idea. However, if this is your dream, I recommend you make the food taste great and the atmosphere (and food) be cool and different. Be weird! Everyone eats out most meals these days and we are constantly looking for something different.
  11. Thanks Adrian for hooking me up to get the Scooter down to the gap. I can't wait to get the scooter gang out and pass the posers going up and down the gap. Time to get excited about June. It will be here soon enough.

    F1 -2013

I would like to think Hamilton has a chance, but NO. Vettel or Alonso likely to be top dogs this season. Did anyone watch Hamilton on Top Gear?
  13. I qualify except for spares and concealed carry. Damn I wanted to be accepted. Chris
  14. I won't be so slow this year, as last was my first trip ever to the Gap! Always looking for new riding buddies and would be happy to help anyone. Chris
  15. Yes, camp site isn't exactly within walking distance. Hell, the lodge can be a tiring walk to some of the cabins, with all the hills. But there will be others camping, not everyone stays in the lodge. Chris
  16. Christopher Wallace aka 'Biggie Smalls' racing knick name You familiar with the whole east coast west coast rapper feud? And Yes, I yell "Biggie Out" and leave the room.
  17. I'm going to try and make this. Maybe with a couple kids in tow.
  18. Cats fuck me up with allergies and I cringe when I see people take allergy medicine just to have a cat. I think cats are cool as others mentioned that they would kill your ass if they were bigger. A bigger dog could still be tamed. I have one dog that doesn't shed, but I'm not a dog person (or cat person). I think some people have dogs because it makes feel superior to dominate another creature. I have it for the kids. I like the dog, don't get me wrong, but putting up with training and having shit in the yard, buying ropes every few weeks because this little thing tears them to shreds, medical care, worrying about feeding, etc. just doesn't feel worth it to me. Biggie
  19. One piece suits are for posers :-) I agree, quality two piece unless we can convince you to get on a track. Chris
  20. Sometimes, I ride ahead, turn around and ride back until I everyone goes by, then I turn back around and chase the group down. I don't always have to ride at 'full retard pace' but I can't stand to ride the 'sight seeing' pace either. I'll do that on the scooter. If anyone wants to ride in the fast group with me, I'm all for it. I hope UP has changed his mind and is coming, if not we still have MT and Hutch. Who else?
  21. Price bump $2200 and includes spare piston/ring.
  22. Welcome. Bike forums can be a tough crowd. Biggie
