  1. Still for sale. New front brake pads were put on 100 miles ago just to try something else. It's only seen about 200 miles so far this year.
  2. Ok, fine then. post up your link.
  3. After three hours cleaning her bike? Yeah, I'd say there might have been some anal later. Her pegging him.......
  4. This part proves you are such an idiot, there is no point in trying to have a reasonable debate of the issue with you since you can't even see the real issue due to your blind hated and fear of guns.
  5. Carwhore is spot on. I researched the hell out of these a few years ago, and ended up buying an 04 based on the previous owners up keep and maintenance records showing he had addressed every issue that these are known to have. The damn truck still found new ways to cost me a fortune to keep it running.
  6. Had a CBR900RR do that one year. Piston in the master cylinder was bad. A rebuild kit was pretty cheap and fixed it right up.
  7. That person would be the load master, who was killed in the crash. I've always been amazed by the 747. Way back when, i was working in Chicago, and instead of heading to the bar with the rest of the out of town workers, i headed to a park near ohare and ran a trail around a lake. It seemed like every other plane landing was a 747. Not many land at cvg, but I always manage to see at least two of the three that come in on Saturdays when I'm at home. If I hear them, I'll stop what I'm doing to go take a look up. Horrific crash, incredible video. I really wish I never saw it.
  8. The garage entrance off mehring way has bike parking on the left side right where you enter. Depending on which cops are working the gate, you can usually park there for free. I also see people park across the street along the wall going to the public landing. Next best choice is the sidewalk in the alley by in-between tavern off sycamore. Plenty of bikes park there every day.
  9. Price drop to $17,250. Leaning towards doing something else now, looking to trade for a tahoe/yukon/suburban in the $8-10K range plus cash.
  10. Fixed for how the other 92% percent of the population sees it. To each his own.
  11. I rode pretty much the entire distance of highway 1 on a road trip out west back BK(before kids). Imagine leaving Monterey heading south on a late Sunday afternoon after the WSB races. This was shortly after some storm had tore up the coast line and multiple bridges were restricted to one way at a time traffic. At each one, all the bikes cut to the front of the line and when it went green, it was like the start of a race. It was a freaking madhouse. Damn, that was fun.
  12. How many miles, and how much $? Other than the ghey color, that's exactly what I was thinking of to replace the wife's van.
  13. Ah crap. Watching it multiple times, and actually paying attention, I'd have to say you're right. It's his goofy hand position that makes it look like he's on the trigger. Never mind, I guess he's legit. I'll support their cause now.
  14. Yeah, that seems pretty good for now. If I recall correctly, I was paying $335/1k for M193 and $370/1k for M855.
  15. So I was in Columbus for work today, and the place I went for lunch had the tv on a local station. A commercial came on showing a manly man type dude, dressed like a hunter/farmer, sitting on the tailgate of a truck holding a shotgun. He goes on to say how he's a hunter and sportsman, and believes in the 2a, but also supports "reasonable" gun control. Of course, it's a call your congressman and tell them to support some new gun control legislation crap. I don't really remember what he went on to say because I got distracted by the fact that the whole time through the commercial, the jackwad had his finger on the fucking trigger. Are they really that stupid? Is the best they can do is dress some guy up to look like a gun guy, and have him give some stupid talk on supporting gun laws when he's not even abiding by the simplest of proper gun handling rules? I don't think they are going to sway a single vote from any true gun enthusiast when using a pitch man who is obviously not a gun guy in the first place. Crap. I get pissed off at all the gun screw ups in the walking dead. I can get over those since the show is fictional, and they don't make any pretense as to it being real. This commercial on the other hand, just pissed me off.
  16. I've shot/got thousands of rounds of PRVI. I researched it a few years back before I bought it and found no real negative opinions on it. Typical nato grade ammo, and shoots as such. It's not match grade, so going for tight groups at 100 yards may leave you disappointed, but it's no problem hitting the 4" steel plate at 150 yards with it even for my 11 year old boy.
  17. The result of no fear of anyone being allowed to have a chl. One or two of these shitheads getting shot would end this type of crap.
  18. Dammit. Someone should tell STI. None of mine are 4", and they all seem to go bang just fine.
  19. I ended up with an xdm compact 9 when doing some trading. I liked it enough to declare it a keeper. The wife shot it and declared it hers. I now have two of them. But now that both kids are shooting it as well, I wouldn't be surprised if I add a couple more before long.
  20. 9mm is a great place to start. Yeah, right now it's not cheap and as easy to find as it used to be, but once all this nonsense is over, it will return that way. Get a full size to help with learning to shoot, then decide if you want more power, smaller size, more bling, etc. from there. A basic full size 9mm is a great place to start. I've got a star 9mm from years ago that has been my introduction to semi autos piece for any new shooter who wants to try. I've now got a half dozen or so 9mm's, and a couple other calibers in the pile, but that gun still gets range time with a noob every so often.
  21. Test all the full size plastic 9mms, glock, m&p, XD(m). Pick the one that feels the best. Shoot a shit ton. Go from there.
